Poem 9: Just Like Maya

Ever resplendently irresistible
The capture of endless beauty
My silky skin and piercing eyes
Downsize my thunder thighs

My curves, as sharp as a thorn
Beautiful and untouchable
Just like that mane that brushes my shoulders Admire from afar, good soldier

Caught a glimpse of that stare
All eyes on me and no one else
Under the influence of my words
Fly deeper, little birds

Flocking towards me
To be closer to me
As my presence shines for a mile
My dress as long as the Nile

Do not underestimate my charm
My voice is as beautiful as my face
With every stride
My beauty amplifies

Demolished by society standards
My uniqueness transcends mountains
Don't let my full lips threaten you
Just do what you were born to do.
