This is my mind constructing words on a page
Do not be influenced in what I have to say,
As previously mentioned an imbalance remains
To ensure those in power have something to gain.
As I deconstruct the pain
So I do not sound insane,
My thoughts are not in vain
For today I remain the same.
The same yes, but my strength builds
To fight for change, I will never yield,
Breaking the barriers for the right reason
Living my life without treason.
Choosing to listen to Ignorance
You are choosing to listen to dissonance
Society is far from harmonious
As the "Leaders" are discreetly felonious.
Conversing with associates
While enjoying their exfoliates,
Unhinged by the acts of which are odious
The example set for children - so opprobrious.
For the sake of what the future holds
I can only share my thoughts and be bold
A topic that some will detest
Let us see what happens next.
