Mikes P.O.V.
I nervously twisted the engagement ring on my right ring finger, the bumpiness of the jewels underneath grazed gently underneath my trembling fingers. The quiet rumble of a couple people sitting in front of me was just white noise. They were all here because of something I had done a few weeks ago. We were sitting in a restaurant, Jere, as usual had that adorable blush as I complemented his looks that evening. Then our dessert came, and at the plate he stared wide-eyed at the ring with chocolate sauce spelling out: 'Will You Marry Me?' He had squealed "YES!" I slipped the ring on his finger and everyone clapped and cheered as I kissed him. The feeling of joy and fireworks completely overtaking my senses. I adjusted my tie once more and looked over the crowd. They were sitting in the uncomfortable chairs meant for children, the smell of pizza filled the air. It seemed fitting to have our wedding in the place we first met. I smiled a little, the animatronics were all sitting quietly, so unlike what they were regularly supposed to do. Then a large bell chime sounded, and everyone immediately stood, looking to the back. The door opened and there stood my beloved Jeremy, looking amazing, as always, in a tux that complemented his body perfectly. He flashed a shy grin and began walking down the isle, I could barely contain my tears. This was probably the happiest day of my life. The animatronics, Scott, and a few other people who i'm pretty sure were just here for cake, all looked full of joy as Jeremy came to stand beside me on the stage. The marionette began the ceremony.
~Time skip brought to you by Mike falling off a swing~
The Marionettes gravely voice told us to say our vows. I was first.
"Jeremy, I don't even think there are words to describe how much I love you, your quirky nerdness, your shy blush, your little stutter, and that really fuzzy green sweater, are all things that I love about you. I promise to stand by you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, through animatronics and memories of lost friends, I will stand with you, forever."
His eyes were shining with tears, he whispered, "Mike... that was beautiful." I couldn't contain my grin as he held my hand and started with his vows.
"Mike, w-when I first 'bumped' into you, I-I would've n-never dreamed in a million years t-that this day would come. Y-you are my strong fortress and I love you so much.. I can't even understand it. Y-you've kept me strong a-and I-I could never repay y-you for that." He paused to take a breath, my eyes were shining with tears. "I-I promise to be w-with you until the day I die, and e-even afterwords I will forever be by y-your side. I promise t-to stay with you, in good t-times and i-in bad, and I promise t-to try and be the b-best husband ever."
I was genuinely smiling so much my jaw started to hurt, and then the Marionette cut in, "You may now exchange the rings." I slipped a ring on Jere's left ring finger, and he did the same to me, then the Marionette looked actually happy for once, "I pronounce you Man and man. You may kiss the husband." Without hesitation I swept Jeremy close to me and pulled him into a kiss. Everyone applauded and cheered. I pulled back and Jeremy smiled shyly. I locked arms with him and walked down the isle. At one point I saw a faint outline of a girl in an empty seat, she grinned at us and mouthed, 'I totally called it.' I grinned and pointed her out to Jeremy, He smiled and waved. She smirked and gave a small salute, then the already pale outline disappeared into green light, then shimmered into nothing. We walked out and went around to the tree-house. The green mist was hovering, then merged into the girl again. "H-hey Hope." Jeremy greeted. She winked and gestured to the two of us. "I told you the Jeremike was real." I was shocked to hear her voice. "Can't you only talk to us once for the rest of our lives?" She shrugged. "I figure this is a good occasion." She was just how we last saw her, still... with blood.. She noticed I was staring and looked down. "Calm down Mikey it's just blood." "Can't you.. like.. change?" She shook her head. "I am a coloured piece of air. I do not have clothes to change into." I laughed a little at the blunt statement. "Soooooo, you two got any honeymoon plans?" She grinned brightly. "Uhh, I think we were just gonna head to our place and chill right?" "Ooooooooh yeah, your jobs suck." She laughed. I shook my head a little and chuckled. "S-so what about y-you? Will w-we see you after this?" Jeremy spoke up, she pondered a little. "Probably, but the only time I can talk is through dreams soooo, say goodbye to my beautiful voice." She joked. Jeremy laughed a little, "Bebye." He waved to her, Hope's face got serious and she stood up, "I'm really happy for you guys, but I have to go okay? Have a good evening Mr Schmidts." She waved and then disappeared. Jeremy blushed and turned to me. "Home?" I smiled again. "Of course Mr. Schmidt." He giggled a little and got into our car. As we drove home, I kept one hand for holding his hand, the other for driving. "S-so after everything, our battle i-is ending?" Jeremy asked me, I smiled, keeping my eyes on the road, "For now, but I think I like this ending better than any other."
