I love you for a week
Is just a drug that is counterfeit
Identical to a promise
With no commitmentHere's a chant that I could say
Never ever do scars that are traumatic
I've been longing for love since I was eighteen
The day when I never meant to become singleAre you, "the one" or are you a bluff?
The candid profile on the internet, was a blast
You wear shades at the beach, proved your greatest style
Oh, I wish I could be the one you're looking for a typeAt the rooftop, we had this conversation
The butterflies in my stomach, doing its excitation
You said, "we can be together for a week"
You called it love, but I called it an experiment
But that's alright, I can fix it
I will be your forever
Even if I think this would be counterfeit
Or somewhat, just an infatuation that I see
I had my pure intentions to admire you
Granted that you can't retaliate the same thing as I do
