I surprised you

Adele's Pov:

Today is our anniversary and I'm super excited, because I know Simon will be exaggerating with his surprises. Especially after the horrendous year we've had.
You can say that with Simon it's always our anniversary, every day. He treats me like a princess and Angelo like a prince, and he doesn't seem to be burdened by it.

I just woke up and Simon is not next to me, normally I'm not that happy about that, but I smile knowing what he's probably doing.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned by the tiredness.
The curtains have already been opened, letting the morning light of the sun illuminate my face and when I turned my head I saw a white rose on the bedside table and a text next to it.

Good morning princess, and happy anniversary! I know this year was not the happiest for us but I'll make this day a very special one, alright?
I am not at home right now, Angelo is at your mum's so don't worry, and I am gonna pick you up at 10 am, so get up and get ready baby!

I smiled from ear to ear and got up from the bed.

I quickly took a shower since it is already 9 am, and I got dressed.
I chose a green dress that was up to my knees and it fitted my waist perfectly, a pair of low heels and a light make-up.

I curled my long blond hair and I was ready just in time for Simon to arrive.

I heard the doorbell ring so I quickly made my way down the stairs, I felt like 4 years ago, just happy to see him.

"Good morning my lady" he took my hand and kissed it, I have always loved that.

"Good morning Mr. Konecki" I smiled.

He was beautiful, he was wearing a white shirt, black trousers and shoes; he was elegant but not too much.
His beard was well-groomed as usual and his scent could be smelled by several miles.

"It seems like you've prepared as best you can for the day. You are so beautiful, but I advise you to bring more comfortable shoes in addition to the ones you already have" he said kissing my cheek.

"Ok, where are we going?" I took some flats and my purse.

"It's a surprise sweetheart"

Generally I don't like surprises but Simon's are crazy. You can never expect what he organizes, he always manages to surprise me with everything.

"I trust you" I kissed his lips.

"Don't worry miss"

We've been in the car for two and a half hours now and I'm getting tired.

Simon still hasn't told me where he plans to take me despite having asked him several times, in fact I'm very surprised that he hasn't thrown me out of the car yet.
However, I decided to ask him in my own way, since it didn't work with good manners.
I placed my hand on his thigh and began to slowly caress it very close to his intimate area.

I sensed his tense gaze on me, but I didn't look at him and continued with my work on his leg, getting closer and closer to his center.
