Simon's Pov:

More than two months have passed since our anniversary, and today is Adele's birthday.

It's my little girl's 22nd birthday, so I got up relatively early.
It was 9am and, I say relatively early because for me it's a normal time, but for Adele it's dawn! She usually wakes up very late.

Still in bed I stroked her bare shoulder and kissed her neck.
Let's say we had a lot of fun last night and I gave her a first birthday present...so I know she is tired and sleeping soundly, even though we went to bed very early because Adele was sleepy.

I went to the bathroom, took a shower and got my things and then left the house.

I took the car and went to get Adele's surprises: gifts and a cake.

We will spend the birthday with family, or rather, family and friends, who for Adele are her family anyway.

Adele's Pov:

I woke up because I heard a noise in the other room, so I grabbed my dressing gown and put it on, as I was naked and still had my man's scent on me. This made me smile.

I headed towards Angelo's room finding him sitting on the bed crinkling his eyes.
There was nothing strange except that the lamp, which was supposed to be on his bedside table, was now on the floor half broken.

"Sorry mum, I was stretching and something went wrong" he rolled his eyes at me "are you mad at me?" She asked.

"No little peanut, it was an accident" I smiled slightly at him "mummy will buy you a new one ok?" He nodded smiling.

"Will you help me clean up here?" I asked him.

"No mum" he got out of bed and walked over to me.

"What do you mean 'no mum'? I asked confused.

"I have to do one more thing first. Come, get down," he told me and so I did.

"And what is peanut?"

He jumped on top of me putting his arms around my neck, whereupon I lose my balance and go backwards with Angelo lying on top of me.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMAAA" he shouted filling me with kisses "mummy you're getting older today" he smirked at me.

"Hahaha thanks love" I cupped his face and kissed his lips.

I almost forgot my birthday,, fuck am I really as old as Angelo says?

"By the way, mum's not old yet my love, I'm just growing up" I smiled at him "just like you little naughty boy" I tickled his sides, making him laugh as crazy.
