Adele's Pov:

I still struggle to realise how much my little man has grown, he is nine years old now.

He still calls me 'mummy' though, I hope he does as an adult too, because I won't be ready to be called just 'mum', I wouldn't accept that, because he will always remain my baby. My puppy.

"Mummy!" Shouted Angelo from his room.

"Tell me love!" I shouted back lying on my bed, snuggling up with Simon stroking my belly.

"Can you come here for a second?" Inside of me I was dying, my belly at six months, just like with Angelo's pregnancy, is big and heavy.

"I'm coming, my love," I said, struggling to get up.

"Darling I can go, don't worry," Simon told me.

"Don't worry, I'm already up anyway".

"Are you sure?" He said and I nodded.

I thus headed towards my baby's room.

"What is it, baby boy?" I opened the door and held my tummy.

"you know the superhero poster I found in the book you and Dad gave me?" He looked at me excitedly.

I nodded wrinkling my nose and patting my stomach, as the baby was kicking quite hard.

"Mum, are you OK? Is it the baby?" He asked worriedly.

"Yes, my love. Your little sister isn't taking her afternoon nap today" I giggled as best I could, as it hurt quite a bit.

"Hey little one" Angelo lowered himself to my belly "you have to be careful with your little feet, otherwise you will hurt our mommy" he stroked and kissed my belly.

A tear ran down my eye.

"Love?"

"Yes mummy?" He looked at me.

"What would you like to name your little sister?" I asked, taking his hand and stroking it gently with my thumb.

"I really like 'Melody', it sounds just like a melody," he said.

I brought his hand to my mouth and kissed it.

"Mum and Dad were thinking about Parker" I said "do you like it?"

"Yes mum, it's very nice" she smiled at me.

"How about Melody Parker Konecki?" He looked at me surprised.

"Are you really going to call her Melody? Are you going to put the name I chose on her?" He looked at me enthusiastically.

"Of course, my life," I kissed his forehead.

"thank you, thank you mummy" she hugged me as best she could, because of my belly.

"My love" I kissed him one more time, but now on the lips, as I have done since he was a baby.

"So what were you going to do with that poster? Hang it on the wall?" I asked him.

He nodded happily.

I laughed and said "alright honey, but you'll have to call daddy, mommy is a little too short, and a little too pregnant" we both laughed and he ran to his daddy.

In the meantime I walked around the room looking at Angelo's pictures.

I'm so glad he's happy to be a big brother, he literally went crazy when we told him.

He was the happiest little boy in the world.

Flashback...

"mummy, are you serious?" She began to cry.

I looked at Simon because I was confused, I couldn't tell if he was happy or not but, looking at my husband, I could see that he was no less confused than I was.

"Are you pregnant?" Peanut asked me.

"Yes my love" I said smiling excitedly "I am expecting a little one" I stood up and grabbed my already grown belly.

We waited 2 and a half months before telling him, just to make sure everything was okay.

"Mummy" he ran to hug me and from there I could tell he was crying with joy with the pregnancy test in his hands.

"Are you happy, my little love?" Simon asked, who in the meantime had gotten up from the couch and joined us.

"Are you kidding daddy?" He hugged Simon as well, "That's the best news you could have given me."

"We love you so much, love. We love you very much. And we want to remind you that although a little brother or sister is on the way, our love for you will not change. No, just kidding, it will change," he said and Angelo became confused.

"What, daddy?"

"Because our love for you will grow more every day, that's why it will change" I said taking his face in my hands and kissing his lips.

"Exactly, my love" Simon told me and I smiled.

End of flashback...

"Are you ok, my love?" Simon asked be while he was hugging me from behind.

"Yes baby" I said wiping a tear away.

"Oh, I know why you're crying" he said giggling "you were looking at peanut's old photos"

I nodded and began to cry again.

"He has grown up so fast" he rubbed my back up and down.

"Mummy, I'm still your little peanut" Angelo said.

"I'm glad baby boy, I'm glad"

Simon continued to caress my belly from behind and kissed my cheek.

"Come on, let's put this poster up, shall we son?" He tousled his hair and smiled.

I continued to walk around the room while caressing my belly.

Simon finished his little job in Peanut's room in a few minutes, as he was very tall.

"So peanut? How does it look?" He asked him.

"It's nice daddy, but isn't it a bit crooked?" Peanut asked doubtfully.

Let's say Simon had almost finished the job.

"No little boy, it doesn't look like it. Love you think it's crooked?" He turned to me so I went to look and found that Angelo was right.

"Yes honey, it is crooked" I giggled.

"Ooh come on. It's not crooked!" He said.

"Simon, simply straighten the poster to our baby" I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him making unnecessary fuss.

"Uff, ok" he said resignedly.

"You'll do a great job, I'm sure" I took his shoulders and kissed his lips, which made Simon very happy and motivated.

"Can I have another one?" He asked.

"Dad! You have a job to do!" Said Peanut "and one of those jobs I'm sure isn't kissing my mum."

"You're right my love. Now Simon, go to work" I pushed him by the shoulders and took him in front of the poster.

"I'm going to go rest in the bedroom, the baby is making me tired" I kissed my son on the lips and my husband on the cheek.

I headed for the door and walked out when I heard Simon shout, "hey, that's not fair at all!" At which I only laughed.
