"Drew wait!" I said running out of my chair and trying to catch up to her.
"Wait please!"
She continued to ignore me but I kept trying to catch up to her. Then as I grabbed her arm to make her stop she turned around.
"Taylor I don't want to talk to you. Leave me alone," she said in a serious tone then continued to walk off.
As she kept walking I did too.
"Please let me just explain what happened! You aren't even giving me a chance."
She turned around again still having a serious face. She stopped walking as her hands went to her hips.
"Whatever you thought you saw. It wasn't anything I swear."
"Some random girl you never told me about flirting with you by wiping your face like that is nothing?" She said then scuffed at me. "Yeah right."
"I didn't know she was going to do that. I just met her and started to have a conversation. Then she saw coffee around my mouth so she cleaned it. I know the way she did it was wrong but I didn't know she was trying to flirt with me."
She didn't say anything but was staring at me and she looked upset.
"It was nothing. I promise. You can trust me."
I grabbed her hand and hoped she wouldn't make this a bigger deal than it seems. She sighed and made the smallest smile at me.
"I do trust you," she said.
I came closer and hugged her. She then hugged me back and we decided to go to her place.

We were sitting down comfortably on her couch with her leaning on my shoulder as we watched TV. She was relaxed now that we talked it over but something told me she still felt a bit off about it.
"That girl. Did you just meet her today or not too long ago?" Drew asked as she looked up at me.
"I have known her for a while but I've never actually met her. She just works at the cafe and I always go in there so she notices me. Today she decided to talk to me about something that happened a few months ago. It had something to do with Vic but that's in the past now," I explained.
"Oh, so you never mentioned to her you have a girlfriend?"
"No. Maybe that's why she thought it was okay to flirt with me. She just didn't know."
"That makes sense." She paused and then said, "I'm sorry. For thinking you were cheating on me or flirting with her."
I looked down at her saying, "It's okay. You had a reason to believe that. It's my fault. I shouldn't have let her even touch me."
Drew was now looking at me too and she put her hand on my cheek.
"I mean if we're being honest who wouldn't want to touch you," she said.
I squinted my face hearing her comment.
"That was cringy," I said laughing.
"Yeah that sounded better in my head," she said laughing with me.
"But honestly you're too hot because you got all these girls falling for you. That coffee shop girl, Victoria, me, and who knows maybe even more Arsenal girls. I'm scared I'm gonna lose you," Drew said laughing.
"Shut up!" I said laughing and then pushing her off of me.

A week later

The international break was over and I felt bad for Vic because not only did she not get to play but the Netherlands weren't able to make it to the Olympics because they lost the matches. I haven't seen Vic yet but I texted her saying It's okay and to keep her head up.

It was a Saturday and I wanted to spend time with Vic today. I know she was upset about her country not being able to qualify for the Olympics so I wanted to cheer her up. I brought a few things from the store like fruits, snacks, drinks, and other stuff to make a picnic. I think it would be a good idea for us to eat and talk during a beautiful sunset. Hopefully, this would cheer her up. I told Vic to meet up at the park so I was able to get everything ready. It was time when the sunset was about to happen and the wind was perfect for being outside today.

Everything was ready and now I just waited for Vic to come. Then about fifteen minutes later I saw Vic walking towards me while smiling.
"Well hello there," I said already sitting down on the blanket I placed on the grass.
"Is this spot taken?" She said pointing to the spot beside me.
"It's all yours."
As she sat down she saw the picnic I made for her.
"You did this for me?"
"Yeah I just wanted to do something nice for you," I said shrugging my shoulders.
Vic looked at me like I was suspicious or something.
"So you just wanted to have a picnic for no reason? There's no catch?"
"Okay, fine I did this because I know you didn't feel great about not making it to the Olympics and that's something that sucks. I wanted to do something nice for you to take your mind off of that."
She smiled trying to hide the fact that she was upset about it.
"Thank you. You didn't have to do this."
"No, but I wanted to."
We started to eat some food I brought and talked at the same time. I told her about what happened the other day when Drew thought I was cheating on her.
"Oh! It was that girl that told you I was with someone?!" Vic realized.
"Yeah, but she seems cool now. She apologized and then we started to talk about our careers," I said before putting a strawberry in my mouth.
"Oh okay. But do you think she liked you? She probably didn't know you have a girlfriend."
"I'm not sure but I never told her that I dated anyone so yeah she didn't know."
"Yeah that makes sense," Vic said then took a bite out of her sandwich.
"Hey, this is pretty good!"
I laughed at her enjoying the sandwich I made.

We were at the park for about an hour and the sunset was beautiful. You don't always get to see one pretty like this in England so I admired it. I wasn't the only one though. I turned my head seeing Vic look at the view. The colors of the sunset shined into her eyes and not until now I realized how she has a hint of grey in her green eyes. Her eyes sparkled in the sun and I was no longer admiring the sunset but now her. She looked over at me as I was already looking at her.
"What?"
"Nothing," I said shaking my head.
I hesitated not saying anything after but I just felt the need to say something to her.
"You're really beautiful," I let out.
I could tell Vic didn't know what to say because of her face. But I could also tell she thought my compliment was nice.
"Where is this coming from?" She said.
"I felt like I needed to say it."
She nodded her head and then said, "Taylor I need to tell you something."
"Okay."
"It's about us or more about you. I don't know if I would ever get to tell you especially since you're dating someone now but I feel like right now I should. Taylor I like-."
Ring ring ring
Right when Vic was going to finish what she was saying my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was Drew.
