After me and Vic were done talking she told me we would be leaving tomorrow so I went to my apartment and packed up everything I needed to wear in Greece. We got on the plane and were on our way.
"I'll pay you back after the trip," I told Vic as she had her head laid back on the seat.
"You don't have to pay me anything. I'm doing this for you."
"Are you sure?"
She giggled saying, "Yes now get some rest."

"Taylor wake up. We're here," I felt Vic say while tapping my shoulder.
"I'm up," I said rubbing my eyes.
The first thing we did was get a cab and go to our hotel. I already loved being here and how beautiful every building was as I was looking out the cab window.
We got to our hotel and then got the keys to the room. As Vic opened the door I wasn't expecting such a big room for just the two of us. I mean the room was huge and don't get me started on how fancy it looked. My jaw was on the floor and all I could hear was Vic laughing at my face.
"This place is insane isn't it," she said admiring the view from our window to the beach outside.
I was shaking my head in awe of how beautiful a place could be.
I heard Vic gasp.
"What?!"
"Shit, there's only one bed. It's okay I'll tell the front desk they gave us the wrong room," Vic said about to head out the door.
I laughed saying, "Vic you're acting like the bed isn't HUGE. It's fine we don't need to change the room."
She turned back around shrugging her shoulders.
"If you say so."
I sat down on the edge of the bed not knowing what our plans were for today. It was the afternoon in Greece so we had time to go out today.
"Soooo... what are the plans for today?" I asked.
"Well I have a few options," she said pulling out a list of paper.
"Did you write down a list?" I said with an uncontrollable smile.
"Hey don't make fun of me. I worked hard on this list."
"Okay okay sorry. Tell me the options," I said with a slight giggle.
"Okay. Since we're in Athens we will most likely be visiting their famous landmarks but I think we can have a full day of doing that another day. For today I think it would be best if we spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach and then we could get dinner. I found a restaurant where you can eat on the ocean?" Vic said looking at me if that's okay with me.
"Let's do it."

We both had our bathing suits on under our clothes ready to hit the beach. I have to say I'm in desperate need of a tan so I'm glad we're going to the beach today.
We headed to the beach grabbing some snacks from the hotel we stayed in. Then we picked a spot on the sand where we would leave our things before getting in the water.
I took off the clothes I had over my bathing suit as did Vic at the same time. I looked over at her looking respectfully but not too long. She looked amazing, I mean she is an athlete after all. I knew she caught me looking at her as she turned her head to look at me, I looked away quickly. She smiled giving me a sunscreen bottle.
"Can you help put it on my back?"
"Of course."
After putting on sunscreen we went in the water. It was the clearest ocean I've ever seen it has been in in my life. I could see myself and Vic's body so clearly. The next thing I know water splashed in my face.
"Are you serious?" I said in shock but still smiling.
"Wait I'm sorry," Vic said getting away.
I started swimming after her to get her back. It lasted a few minutes before she gave up and let me splash her.
Our bodies were completely in the water except for our shoulders. Our hair and faces were wet as well from submerging ourselves in the water. Vic's skin was so clear and glowing as I'd never seen before.
The sun made her shine and different colors of green in her eyes were vibrant which led me to say, "You're beautiful."
Shit, why did I say that out loud?
"Thanks," she said with the slightest grin.
"You too."
"It's okay. You don't have to compliment me back."
She nodded her head.

After that awkward conversation, we kept swimming for at least an hour and then went to lie down on the sand.
Getting out of the water and letting the sun hit you was a perfect combination. Me getting darker and Vic not wanting to made me laugh.
"You're getting to get a little Vic. The sun is hitting your skin."
"Ugh, I know! I don't want to get darker!" She said trying to find shade under her hat.
"That's not going to work," I said laughing at her.
"Yeah whatever," she said giving up and laying next to me.
I closed my eyes relaxing on the towel I put on the sand and hearing the waves of the beach. I stayed that way for about 2 hours not knowing I slept on the beach. Vic woke me up to get ready for dinner so we changed at the hotel and then went to another part of the beach where the restaurant was on top of the ocean.

"This is crazy," Vic said looking around us only seeing water beneath us and the shore in the distance.
"I can't believe I'm here. I never thought a place could look so beautiful," I said.
"Yeah this country is unreal and we still have many other parts of Athens to visit."
"Do you have this week and next week planned already?" I asked taking a bite of my food.
"For the most part yes but today was just the beginning of our awesome summer vacation!" Viv said excitedly.
I laughed at her excitement but I couldn't blame her cause I was excited too.

It was the end of the day and me and Vic were getting ready to go to bed. The room was lit with dim lights that were bright enough for us to see the room. I was already lying in bed watching friends on the TV. Vic was barely getting out of the bathroom and then got on the opposite side of the bed. She got comfortable lying beside me. My head was still facing towards the TV but I knew she was looking at me.
"You look happy Taylor," Vic said softly.
I turned my head to look at her thinking about it. About my happiness. I hadn't been for a while but right now I know for a fact I was.
"I am," I said with a soft smile.
"Well, I'm happy you're happy. I know the past month and a half has been difficult for you but should never again feel the way you did. Hurt will get someone nowhere but how you respond to that," Vic said lying on her side.
I then laid on my side too facing her.
"When did you become a poet?"
Vic laughed.
I stared at her longer and said, "I don't think I would've been in the place I am right now without you. You're the reason I got out of bed when I didn't want to and got my act together. Who knows where I would've been without you."
Vic sighed saying, "You deserved better Taylor. I don't want to say Drew wasn't good enough for you but it's true. She wasn't. I would've never done what she did to you."
For a moment I didn't know why Vic was telling me this. Maybe it was to make me feel better or maybe it was because she felt some way towards me?
Then I realized.
The same thoughts and feelings I felt at the beginning of my and Vic's relationship where we would have these moments and I would feel a type of way were the same feelings I feel right now.
We were still staring at each other and not in an awkward way but it felt calming instead. I felt safe and loved.
I saw her.
I really saw her in this moment where there was nothing between us but inches of space. She was always beautiful but right now I truly realized how beautiful she was. Her eyes were sparkling green in the dim lights and her beautiful face always glowed no matter how much light was hitting her. But it wasn't just her beauty that made me realize in this moment that I may have feelings for her but the way she always and will always be there for me.
I FEEL SO STUPID!
How could I not figure it out until now that I like Vic but more than a friend??
She always did everything for me and no matter what I was going through she made sure I was okay. She never ever not listened to what I had to say and still right now she waits so patiently to what I have to say even though I had no idea what to say.
What do I say??
Hey Vic I like you like more than a friend?
No.
Vic, I just want to let you know that I just realized I have feelings for you?
I can't say that.
So I'm really into you but I don't know if you feel the same way and if you do great but if you don't that's totally okay even though I'll get hurt?
Definitely not!
Ughhhh what do I say and as I kept thinking I realized Vic's eyes were already closed. She was asleep and part of me was relieved but the other was thinking of how I was going to tell her how I felt or if I should ever tell her?
FUCK! What do I do?
