"Look I'm happy for you. I am but if she doesn't respect you, we're gonna have a problem," Dylan said on the other side of the phone call.
"She does. It was just an accident. She misunderstood the moment and I told her already I wasn't ready to take it that far."
"Ok I believe you but if anything else like that happens you have to let me know."
"Yeah yeah I know," I answered as I poured myself a cup of coffee. I took a sip and then thought of what Drew said about Vic last night.
"What if she doesn't like my friends?" I asked Dylan breaking the silence.
"Well then me and her are gonna have a problem. Why? Does she not like me? I haven't even officially met her?" He asked.
I then laughed at him because I wasn't talking about him but instead about Vic.
"No, it's not you. It's just that yesterday we were talking about Vic and she said that she thinks Vic likes me."
"What? Like likes you? Like more than friends like you?"
"Yeah like that," I answered.
"Hmm... she could've possibly said that because she's jealous of your friendship or who knows she might be right."
"Well I just don't want Drew to dislike the people I care about," I said.
Dylan didn't say anything for a few seconds but then began talking again.
"I got it! Ok it might be risky and I don't know how this will turn out but why don't you invite Victoria to hang out somewhere with you and Drew? If you want Drew to see Victoria differently, they should meet each other."
I didn't think the idea was half bad but who knows how they would get along. Vic did invite me to a little party with her other friends so maybe I could bring Drew along.
"Yeah I think I'll do that," I said to Dylan.
"Ok, I'll wish you luck!"
"Thank you! I got to go now."
"Bye!" Dylan said then hung up the phone.

I first called Drew to see if she wanted to come and if she did she could also be able to meet the others like Katie or Lia. Vic used to ask me to go hang out with her and her teammates because I didn't have any friends here or know anyone but now I've gotten to know gotten close to them and become real friends they usually expect me to come with Vic. Weirdly, I'm the only one hanging with them that doesn't play football but I don't mind. I let them talk about all that stuff because I also love to talk about it too. They are amazing people and so funny so I think Drew will like them and they'll like her too.

Vic was okay with Drew coming and Drew said she doesn't mind going so now I just have to hope that they get along or at least like each other. I feel like I'm in some kind of rom-com movie where I have to get my "soon-to-be girlfriend" and best friend to get along and the crazy part is that they haven't even met each other! Okay maybe Vic will like Drew but Drew has kind of made it clear that she doesn't know if she'll like the kind of person Vic is. I've tried to tell her Vic is a great person but she's just gonna have to see for herself.

I picked up Drew from her apartment as soon as she got out of work so we could go to the party. It was going to be at Vic's place so knew where to go. we arrived then me and Drew went to the apartment floor. We were walking towards Vic's door as Drew said, "Am I going to be at a party with professional footballers?"

"Yes," I said laughing.
"Woah. That's crazy."
"Ok here's her door," I said as I knocked on it.

It only took a few seconds for someone to answer it and as the door opened I saw a big smile coming from Katie.

"Taylor!" Katie said bringing me in for a tight hug.
"Okay Okay let's go now," I said tapping her arm.
"Oh sorry. I'm just excited to see you," She said then turned her head to see someone else beside me.
"Who's this?" she said with a questioning face.
"Oh yeah this is Drew and Drew this is Katie," I said bringing Drew closer to me and Katie.
"Hi. it's nice to meet you, Drew," Katie said giving Drew a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you too."
"Well come in guys. I think Victoria is in the kitchen if you want to go see her Tay."
"Uh yeah I'll go in a bit thanks," I said to Katie as she left.
