Chapter 32

For the past 2 weeks, I and Vic enjoyed eating food we'd never heard of, having walked on the beach, and kissing... a lot. I wouldn't say we make out but we just do short kisses. I would say I wouldn't want to rush whenever we do it for the first time but in reality, I'm kind of nervous. I want it to be perfect with Vic.
She deserves that.
If I feel like I'm not ready then I won't let it happen. It is hard to not think about having sex with Vic I mean every time I look at her in bed, god she's beautiful.
It's our last day in Greece which means we have to make this day count.

I reached for my camera in my bag and took a quick picture of the beautiful latte I ordered. I don't think I could go a day without drinking coffee and Vic couldn't go a day without drinking matcha.
"For your next birthday I'm buying you an espresso machine," Vic said.
"No those are too expensive."
"I don't care. I'm getting you it," she demanded.
I gave her a defeated look because I knew I couldn't win the "argument."
"So what's the plan for our last day?" I asked taking a sip of my coffee as we walked out of the coffee shop.
"I mean we've done so many things and been to so many places so I don't know I was thinking we could rent a yacht and go swimming. What do you think?"
"Thank god!" I shouted.
Vic looked at me confused.
"What do you mean "thank god"?
"Sorry, it's just we've been walking every day and honestly I'm tired of it. I'm not saying I hated walking around but my legs need rest."
Vic laughed at my response and shook her head.
"Wow, you're that lazy!"
"I'm not lazy! I just don't want to go walking anymore."
"Okay okay it's settled then," Vic said going in her phone to rent a yacht for us.

An hour later we were enjoying ourselves on the yacht with the sun hitting our skin making us tan. One of the things I wanted to get out of this vacation was to get a nice tan since in England it's always cloudy or raining. I wish it could always feel like this in London but sadly that's not the case. For the time I do have left here I want to enjoy the sun as much as I can and just be with Vic alone.
As I open my eyes looking at the sky with my sunglasses on I feel Vic staring at me so I turn my head to look at her.
"What?"
I couldn't see her eyes through the sunglasses she was also wearing but I knew they were glowing. She always looks at me this way and that's one of the things I love about her. She doesn't need to try to show how much she admires people she cares about.
She does it naturally.
"What are we?" She asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean what do you want us to be? Relationship wise?" She asked again placing her head on her hand.
I pull my body closer to her leaning my face closer to hers. My finger traced her bikini near her thigh.
"Whatever you want us to be," I said going in to kiss her.
Vic then suddenly giggled moving away from me. I sighed knowing she was about to make fun of me.
"Since when did you get so confident?"
"Okay okay very funny," I said a little annoyed turning my body back to the sun.
"No no I didn't say it was bad I'm just not used to it," she said getting on top of me.
"Stop! Get off!" I said smiling.
"Never!"
She held my arms down both of us staring at each other. She leaned in kissing me and I quickly kissed back. I pulled away to get her attention looking up at her.
"I want to date you. Like I want us to be a real couple." I said waiting for her to respond.
She grinned big and nodded her head.
"I would very much like that for us," she answered and then kissed me one more time.
She laid beside me putting her head on my chest. Still looking up at the sky and our hands intertwined I asked, "When do you think we should tell everyone? I don't mean like tell the whole world but at least the people were close to but if you would like to tell the world you can. I don't want to pressure you."
She waited to speak a few seconds then said, "We don't have to worry about that right now but whenever the time comes we'll let them know and I'm talking about both our close ones and the world."
"Yeah you're right," I said reassured by Vic.
Vic sighed still having her head in my chest.
"I've waited so long for this," she said softly.
"For what?"
"This. Me and you. Since the first day I saw I knew I was attracted to you but then getting to know you I fell even harder."
I was blushing now knowing she's always liked me even when I didn't feel the same way at the time.
"I can't believe how stupid I was to not see it. I mean now looking back it was obvious how much you liked me and I knew that I felt something too. How could I just now see it," I said embarrassed.
"It's okay I wouldn't expect you to feel the same way right away."
"Yeah, but it was really obvious wasn't it?" I said looking at her and she looked up at me saying, "Yeah it was."

After spending a calming last day in Greece with Vic I have to say that this trip was exactly what I needed. To get rid of the thought of my ex and to be with someone who truly cares about me. I'll miss it just being me and Vic and not worrying about the world and our lives outside of Greece but I sadly do have to pay for my bills and Vic has a job to get back to.
