"First things first. What do you look for in a woman?" Dylan said as he was putting a sushi in his mouth.
"Well, I would like someone who is kind, funny, loyal, athletic, outgoing, and is beautiful of course."
I didn't know now but eventually I would figure out all the things I mentioned was describing Vic.
"I didn't know you're into women. I mean I didn't want to assume anything but are you only into women or men too?" Vic asked.
"Yeah I am, but I'm actually bi," I said to her.
"Oh that's cool," she said smiling at me.
"Ok well now that we know what you're into, let's get started," Dylan said looking around the restaurant.
"Should we start here or should we walk around outside?" Dylan asked me.
I'm guessing he was serious about this, but wouldn't it be weird to go up to a random person and see if they would like to go out? I then looked over to Vic. She didn't look good and had a little frown.
I whispered to her, "are you okay?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine," she said smiling again. I'm pretty sure something was wrong but I didn't want to talk to her about right now because Dylan was here.
"There's a lot of people who just hangout or walk near the park outside. We could try there," Vic mentioned.
"That sounds like a good spot. Let's go there," Dylan said getting out of his chair.

We paid for the food and then headed out to the park area Vic was talking about.

We were walking around the park to see anyone I could possibly be interested in. I mean Dylan was doing most of the work. He's really the only one trying. I couldn't care less to try and Vic was just looking around, but she didn't seem to be trying either.
"Ooo, what about her?" Dylan said showing me the direction of the person he was talking about.
"I mean there's so much beaUtiful women but it all really comes down to their personality," I said looking at him. Vic seemed to agree with me because she nodded her head.
"that's true. Then maybe we should "bump" into someone and you can get to know them. And the conversation doesn't have to be long, just good enough to where you know their vibe," Dylan requested.
"Sure," I said not really wanting to but if Dylan wants to spend his time here, trying to get me with someone than the least I can do is make him happy.

We went up to a few people and Dylan helped me out with introducing myself to them. I would "bump" into some people and also randomly make small talk to some people to start conversation. So far I have talked to a politic, cat lover, barista, and a musician. Don't get me wrong some of them seemed interesting but it was mostly the personality I wasn't into. I wasn't really having a great time and I could tell Vic wasn't into it either, but she tried to put on a happy face.

We moved on to the fifth person I was going up to. Dylan thought she might be someone I could be interested in since she was taking pictures. As I was going up to her she looked pretty. She has blond hair, seems about 5'6, and was pale. The only thing I could think of to start conversation with her was the camera she was using.
"That's a Canon EOS Rebel, right?"
The woman turned to look at me saying, "yeah it is. You a photographer?"
"Yeah I'm a sports photographer. I take pictures at football games."
"That's cool. So you're a football fan?" She asked seeming interested in my job.
"Yup. I love taking pictures of football and watching the sport in person is what made me choose the job." I said smiling.
"I love that. It's pretty cool your job is taking pictures and watching games at the same time."
"it's the best," I say not knowing what else to talk about. There was a second of silence but she eventually spoke up.
"I'm guessing you're not from here. Your accent doesn't sound like you're English," she said knowing I wasn't from here.
"No im not. I'm from America but I moved here about a month ago to be able to take pictures at wsl and premier league games."
"Right. That makes sense. So do you know much people here since you just moved?" she asked.
"Well I just know a few but I mainly hangout with one person," I said speaking about Vic.
"Wow that's a little sad," she said laughing.
I laughed with her and said, "I'm used to having a little bit of friends."
"Sure but you wouldn't mind having one more?"
I looked at her and she seemed like a person I could eventually get to know more about. I wouldn't mind having someone else to know here.
"Yeah I wouldn't mind."
We exchanged phone numbers and I just realized we didn't even tell each other our names.
"I'm Taylor by the way."
"It's nice to meet you Taylor. I'm Drew," she said sticking her hand out for me to shake.
"It's nice to meet you too Drew. I'll text you to see when we could hangout or something," I said being surprised on how confident I was.
"Sounds good."
"Bye," I said waving my hand and walking away.
"Bye," she said smiling as I walked away.

As I was walking back to Dylan and Vic I thought a little about the person I just met. She was very nice and I liked her vibe. She seemed like a person I could be friends with and maybe something more, but only time will tell. She was pretty too which is a bonus.

"Well that seemed like good conversation from here. How is she?" Dylan asked with a smirk.
"She nice and seemed cool so we exchanged phone numbers."
"That's my girl!" Dylan said side hugging me.
"Good for you," Vic said with a little smile. She didn't seem too happy about it.
"Thanks. I'm glad I met a new friend though."
"Well friend now but maybe girlfriend in the future?" Dylan said still smirking.
"I don't know yet, but for now she seems like a good friend."
I didn't want to think too much about because I didn't even know if she's interested in women. She could be straight so I didn't want to assume anything.
"Yeah, I mean you don't even know is she's gay," Vic mentioned as we began to walk.
"That's what I was thinking," I said.
"Oh come on. I know I shouldn't assume people's sexuality but she looks soooo gay," Dylan said.
"Maybe but we don't know for sure."
"I would still like to be friends with her either way. I'll get to find out the more I get to know her."

We decided to continue to walk around but Dylan said we were done trying to find someone for me since I met Drew. He said it was a "successful mission." The whole time we were walking Vic didn't talk much. I know there was something going on with her but I wanted to talk to her about it in private.

I then looked down at my phone because it buzzed. I got a notification from messages.
