I laughed to myself a little bit when I realized having momentary outbursts or anxiety attacks in the form of disassociated resolutions is kind of like throwing up.
A breakdown, a mental episode of a sort, is like vomiting after being unbearably nauseous for a while. Your mind has been in anguish, and you need to get it out. Once you do, you usually feel better.
The reason I laughed, though, is because whoever you reached out to during that time is your toilet.
