The memories of our present, which were feeling like the past had started reeling in my mind. Every second that I spent in this timeline, felt like the reality, instead of where I came from in reality. This young couple, who'd taken us in with not much to go on, reflected my parents as saviors who never shied from helping someone. I felt like the beggar but that wasn't as bad a feeling knowing this stinging reality that once we fixed this, that moment between Aria and I would disappear and I'd have lost the chance again. Heat grew on my face again and I rested my head against the cold wall.

How did my life turn out to be like this?

When I came back out, both of my siblings were still where I left them.

"I'm going to go and see what Dad's found." I offered and both sprang up. It was shocking how Albus listened so well. We made our way to Dad's office but paused at the voices coming out the door.

"What could she possibly do Harry?" Mum spoke.

"Ginny, Malfoy almost killed Dumbledore at this age." Dad reasoned.

"Almost. He couldn't do it." Mum was always a little reluctant about such things.

"Something tells me he would've had Snape not shown." Dad was truly bitter towards Mr. Malfoy.

"Harry, you are letting your hate guide you again."

"Ginny, this woman will kill us in fifteen years."

"Fifteen years! Harry, she'll be above thirty. And we can't even convict her for anything because I'm sure she's done nothing wrong." Lily sighed behind me.

"Yeah, I'll be the judge of that when we find her." He answered after a pause.

"The kids say she's in the Lestrange Hut. Maybe we should go together and check it out." There it is. The urge to do everything on their own.

"Without the kids?" Dad asked.

"Without."

"Without the kids is the first place you died." I marched in, irritated now. Albus and Lily followed. Dad was in his chair and Mum sitting across the desk from him.

"We can't take you there. Your dying will get us nowhere." Dad spoke and Mum and Lily had the same shock on their faces. Dad was harsh, I knew but he always said that there were moments in life when one had to seem harder than a hammer and colder than ice.

"Look, we can't let you walk ahead of us. If you haven't realized, Dad, you are in our past. You die, Lily never exists." Albus pointed at him and he looked past me at Lily, "And if you or both of you..." Albus looked at Mum, "Then, Lil and I both cease to exist."

"Either way, I'm left alone and honestly, I'm not looking forward to that. You have to understand. Our existence depends on you. We can't just put you ahead of us." I moved forward, "All due respect if one of us dies, nothing changes. One of you do, everything does."

"We only told you because you were onto us Dad. Otherwise, we would've died finishing this."

"Okay. Everyone stop talking about dying." Mum suddenly stood, "No one is dying. Tomorrow, after nine, we head for the location." She looked around.

"Mum..." I mumbled.

"No. This is the plan or there is no plan, mister." She raised a finger and I knew to shut up.

"I'd listen to her," Dad spoke and Lily snorted beside me.

"Thank you." I nodded. Mum walked and abruptly took me in a hug. My heart was overwhelmed and I let myself breathe in her embrace. The quiet was tackled by Lily's giggles and strong arms. Mum laughed.
