Lily
"Well, did we make it?" Albus asked. I looked at the chairs in front of us.
"Yeah." I nodded at the empty chairs. I looked up at the wall and the Calendar on the wall read, 23rd December 2021. James and Albus were looking at it.
"Time to face it." James inhaled a deep breath. We nodded and followed him upstairs.
The house was too quiet when we reached up. We looked in the hallway and nothing.
"Merlin's beard, where have you three been?" We heard a scream and a sob instantly broke out of me, as I turned and found mum standing with hands on her waist and rage on her face. We tackled her and she almost fell back.
"What's going on?" We heard Dad behind in the dining room. I pushed past the cluster at my forty-two years old, golden spectacles, slight wrinkles on his face, father.
"Dad." I laughed and cried in him.
"Lily?" He asked, rubbing my head. I felt a soon warmth grow around me and I knew Albus and James were around dad too now. His arms slowly stretched out and tapped Albus and James' back awkwardly.
"Will you tell us what's whats going on? You have been missing since last night! Your father's been going crazy, looking everywhere for you!" Mum exclaimed. When we stopped hiccuping, we set them down on the chairs and sat across form them. We each took turns and explained everything from the point that Saphire killed them to the point we tackled them in hugs in that moment. Mum and Dad were staring at us, completely shocked. James put the time turner in front of Dad.
"Is that how I got the tip for the Lestrange Hut?" He exclaimed.
"So you got it!" James clapped.
"This really... did this really..." Mum was still processing.
"We had to." I whispered, "We couldn't do this without you. Dead or Alive, you two are a vital subjects of earth." A snort and sob broke out of me.
"I can't believe you did this." She whispered.
"You didn't deserve to die." Albus spoke up, "You weren't meant to. James and Lily fixed my mistake."
Dad and Mum looked at us surprised for a bit.
"Gimme my cloak, the map and your wands. All three of you are grounded for Christmas." Dad spoke.
"What?" James whined, "We wanted to save your lives!"
"You could've found better ways for it, rather than ones that brought you back in dust and bruises!" Dad scolded. We dropped our heads and put the things on the table but when we matched each other's eyes we couldn't help the smile, when we looked up, Mum was smiling too with tears in her eyes. We looked up at Dad and snickered lowly, shaking his head.
"My babies are all grown up." Mum sniffled, "That's annoying." She groaned and we cackled lightly.
"Thank you." Dad muttered and we were suddenly happy and relieved. It seemed that it wasn't just me who would gladly spend Christmas grounded with our parents. We were home. The Potters were back.
Albus
I ran to my room after a blissful dinner with mum, dad, Aunt Hermione, Uncle Ron and their kids. The night was dark and the crescent shone in the night. I sat on my bed, staring out the window, above my bed's headboard. I looked around the room. It was completely drenched in my likes and personality. It felt strange to have seen this room, completely plain. I grinned at the remembrance of mum asking how many pillows or blankets I needed.
