James
I fought my way through the cloud, only to bump into someone. My collision was with a familiar Merlin.
"What?" I mumbled, "Where are we?" I gulped, agitated that my father Harry Potter stood in this room, which seemed to be the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts. I felt irritated knowing his presence meant that dad still didn't trust me to do well on my own.
"Who is this?" Dad asked. As he squinted at me, I found it strange that he wore rectangular spectacles and had strangely grey eyes than green. More importantly, why did he ask that?
"The prohecised sorcerer." Merlin introduced.
"Really." Dad mumbled, seeming distant, "What's your name?" He asked.
"James." Was all I said, raising a hand.
"Charlus." He shook my hand, "Potter." I almost panicked because the fact that this man looked a little different than Dad was starting to make sense. He was from the lines of Potters, though I couldn't place what the relation would be. But he could've easily been Dad's twin.
A knock broke the silence in the room and two more people seemed to be sitting in a corner in the room, shocking my brain beyond compare. The woman had brunette hair but my mother's face. What the hell was this? The man next to her had long dark hair with deep black eyes and by the way his fist rested on the wooden board behind him, announced that it was him who had knocked.
"Sirius Black the Second." The man introduced and my breath hitched. I was waiting for this woman now.
"Belvina Black." She introduced and I gulped. Both Belvina and Charlus shared a look and Belvina's jaw clenched.
No way... were they...
"What year is this?" I gulped.
"Ways before your time." Merlin answered.
"What? Then who... who are they... I've never seen them in anything... no portraits or anything?" I asked, "What does this have to do with Klaus?"
"Klaus Black is our doing and he must be stopped." Sirius spoke.
"Alright, I get why you're here but why you?" I pointed at Charlus.
"The descendant... Klaus..." Charlus spoke, "Is all of our doing."
"Excuse me?" I was feeling nauseous.
"Meaning, that bastard..." Sirius spat with a snarky smirk, "Is the ancestor of that abomination."
This man certainly had anger issues.
"Your plan is to pull the tree by the sapling?" I turned to Merlin, "What about all the innocents in between? What if killing these three, ends my parents?"
"There are no innocents in between. Because they are not here to die." Merlin sighed, "Klaus isn't a regular child."
"Meaning?"
"Carlisle, Klaus's father was an illegitimate child. His parents abandoned him, trying to give him a separate life on support but, he grew resentful of the families. A personal feud. However, he possessed the Elixir of life."
"How?" I gasped, "I thought that was strictly forbidden after Flamel brewed it for himself."
"That's the thing... he stole it from Flamel. That old man may have been over many centuries old but his brain remained silent." Merlin snorted, "Carlisle wanted immortality but its effects wavered, causing Carlisle to reproduce in the year 1999. Carlisle is still alive as of this moment."
