If I already didnt understand math, then it just got worse. That boy, Felix, is in my math class now and I paid attention to him instead of writing inequalities. His presence kind of threw me off. Why was he so familiar? He sat low in his chair, tapping away on his phone. He hardly looked up from his phone. He didnt care about this class, he didnt care about school. Who was this kid and why couldn't I keep my mind off of him?
"Susanna? Any answer?"
Huh?
The teacher had called on me to answer a question, but I was lost trying to recall that familiar, good-looking face. I stumbled over my words asked my friend that sat with me what the answer was.
"Maybe if you weren't staring at Felix you would know, but it's A." Liza said, jesting.
My face almost instantly lit up red. Fuck, I was staring at him hard. So what he seemed somewhat familiar? He probably went to my elementary school for a couple of months. That's probably where I recognize him from. My thoughts scrambled but I managed to peep out the answer to the class.
