"Hey Susy, you okay?" I asked Susanna with a sly grin on my face.
From prior experience, I knew girls melted just at the sight of me. So Susanna was probably an internal mess right now. Especially since I, her handsome childhood best friend, was talking to her again after years of separation.
"Felix..." She muttered, face red.
"Should I reintroduce myself?" I smiled at her.
"I'm Felix. Felix de la Rosa. What's your name?" I asked her.
She rolled her eyes at me.
"Still a jokester, huh?" She scoffed.
I laughed softly in response. I sat next to the empty seat next to her, the person sitting next to her hadn't gotten to class yet. She didnt protest, just sat there silently.
"Shocked I asked for your number? Sorry, I just wanted to reconnect with my old friend."
If I wanted these 30 bucks, I had to be smooth about how I did things!
"Missed me?" She giggled, looking straight at me.
"Only as much as you missed me." I smiled at her, my head slightly lifted.
I rose from the seat and walked over to my designated seat which was right across from her. I decided I wanted to leave her wanting more. I chuckled to myself.
"Easiest 30 bucks of my life."
