Before I start the chapter, I just want to say that I am really disappointed by the lack of comments from my readers. In the previous chapter, only two people commented. Shout out to @SreemoyeeS and @purplenz07tk for showing your appreciation and for commenting your thoughts. Please do not see it as me complaining, but as a request from my side. You guys need to understand that unlike professional writers who get validation for their writing from the amount of books they sell, we, Wattpad writers have no other way of knowing if the readers are liking our books or not other than from the number of votes and the comments you send. It's the only way to know if our book is doing well or not. So please write a comment or two or atleast send an emoji if you guys are enjoying the story. Thank you for reading.

"So, care to explain what the hell was that?" Jungkook asked, watching the retreating back of Ji-ah as she ran out of the room the moment Jungkook came inside. And it was a good thing that he happened to come at the right time because Taehyung was 100% sure that he would have probably done something rash like giving her a tight slap on her pretty little face which would have definitely made things worse than they already were.

"Where the hell were you? How long does it take you to simply have breakfast?" Taehyung snapped, taking his anger out on Jungkook, who raised his eyebrows at him in question.

"Are you fucking blind? Can't you see the tray I am holding? So much for being a concerned boyfriend. And besides, shouldn't I be the one to be angry here? Afterall, you are not the one who caught your boyfriend getting chummy with a girl in his bedroom." Jungkook retorted, angrily setting down the tray on the table.

"I was not getting chummy with her. She was the one who attached herself to me like a fucking blood sucking leech. I swear to God, I would've slapped the shit out of her if she hadn't let go of me when she did. Can you believe her audacity? She barged into my room uninvited and then proceeded to confess her love for me. And when I told her I am not interested, she started begging me to give her a chance. And when I asked her to leave me alone, she latched herself onto me and refused to let go until I agreed to give her a chance. So it was a good thing that you came when you did. Because I was on the verge of losing my shit."

Taehyung explained everything that happened before angrily flopping down on the bed.

"Wait, she confessed to you? I thought you didn't even know who she was. Then how the hell did she fall in love with you? Or am I missing something here?" Jungkook questioned, plopping down next to Taehyung, who immediately scooted close to Jungkook.

"Well, apparently she saw me for the first time at Namjoon Hyung's wedding and fell in love with me at the very first sight." Taehyung spoke, rolling his eyes while Jungkook just stayed silent, digesting the new information.

"Your family said that your marriage was fixed three years back, right? So, you never met her even once during that time? Not even when they were talking about your marriage?" Jungkook knows Taehyung can be a bit indifferent to anyone whom he doesn't consider either a friend or a family. But to the extent that he doesn't even remember her face, especially since she happened to be related to Taehyung's sister-in-law and his entire family seems to love her enough to want her as their future daughter-in-law and yet Taehyung was unaware of her existence up until a day ago was difficult to understand.

"You know me, Kookie. I never pay attention to anyone who doesn't mean anything to me. She is practically a stranger to me. And in my defense, why would I remember someone whom my family selected for me when I had already turned the proposal down? How would I know that instead of canceling the marriage like I had asked them to, my family would think it would be a good idea to postpone it instead until I came back?" Taehyung answered, getting frustrated the more he thought about everything. His family really did screw him over.
