The atmosphere inside the Kim Mansion was tense and anxious as the Shaman kept reciting the mantras with closed eyes while Kim DeiJi held onto her prayer beads and was chanting prayers alongside with an anxious frown on her face. Other than the women, none of the men were home. And Kim DeiJi being the devout woman she was, when Mina informed her that there was a Shaman outside their gate, she immediately welcomed him in and now here they were all gathered in the living room, all standing around anxiously as they waited for the Shaman to open his eyes and speak.

"Are you sure this is going to work? What if they don't take his words seriously?" Ji-ah asked as she followed Mina into the kitchen under the guise of bringing refreshments for the so-called Shaman.

"Keep your voice down, you idiot. Do you want others to hear you? And how many times do I have to tell you that it is going to work. You don't know that old lady like I do. She is not only extremely religious. But she is also superstitious. How do you think I became the daughter-in-law of this house when there were so many girls from rich families who were vying for it? It's simple. I just paid a guy to pose as a Shaman and tell that old lady that she should come to the Buddist temple at early dawn and there she will find her future daughter-in-law. He told her she will find a girl wearing a red dress and she will bring happiness and prosperity to her family.

And that fool ate it up. All I had to do was to get up at the ass crack of dawn and get ready in a red dress and show up in front of her at the right time. I specifically chose that time since no one will be there during that time other than the temple monks. So, there won't be any risk of someone else showing up in a red dress. And the rest as you say was history. She sent the proposal to my home the very next day and here I am. So, don't you worry your pretty little head about anything. This is going to work." Mina explained, making Ji-ah speechless. She didn't know her sister was this devious and cunning.

"Is this the same Shaman you used that time or is he a different one? I am asking because what will happen if Halmoni recognizes him?" Ji-ah questioned, feeling skeptical.

"No. This is a different one. I am not a fool to use the same guy. Now, stop asking me questions and let's go out there and see how the drama unfolds." Mina instructed as she gave a tray full of drinks in Ji-ah's hands, signaling her to follow her.

"What do you see, Sinbu? Is there anything for us to be concerned about?" Mina heard DeiJi ask the Shaman as she entered the living room with Ji-ah in tow. She bowed respectfully in front of the Shaman and offered him drinks before going back to stand in a corner while he talked to DeiJi.

"I see some unrest and discord in this family. And it's attracting negative energy to this home. I am afraid if something isn't done soon to tame the negative energy, it could turn into resentment which will be very bad." The Shaman answered, making both DeiJi and Mi-Su worried.

"What can we do to solve this, Sinbu? Please tell me there is a solution." DeiJi asked, feeling anxious, making both Mina and Ji-ah smirk.

"There is a solution for everything in this world, DeiJi-ssi if one is determined to look for it and is willing to do whatever it takes." Once again the Shaman gives a cryptic reply, making the rest of them confused as well as anxious.

"I am ready to do whatever it takes if it will help my family, Sinbu. My family's happiness is all that matters to me." DeiJi spoke, determined.

"For that you need to solve the discord in your family first. If you tell me what is causing the negative energy, then I will be able to give you a solution for it." The Shaman spoke while DeiJi looked lost in thoughts.

"The first thing that comes to my mind is my middle Grandson, Sinbu. He has been married for four years, but they still don't have a child. I have been going to temple and praying for a Grandchild for years now. But I feel like my prayers are not being heard." And just like that the smiles on both Mina's and Ji-ah's faces were wiped off while the Shaman too looked thrown off his element since this wasn't what he was expecting. He discreetly looked at Mina without raising any suspicions to ask what the hell he should do now, but immediately schooled his expression when DeiJi looked at him. And YoonSeo who had been a silent spectator up until now couldn't stay there anymore and ran out of the room with tears running down her face.
