"This is fucking stupid. I am calling Eomma and ask her to come and unlock the door." Namjoon reached inside his pocket to take out his phone only to groan in annoyance when his hands came up empty.
"What? What is it?" Jin asked, unable to contain his curiosity.
"I left my phone charging in my bedroom. Why don't you use yours?" He suggested.
"Mine is in my handbag. In case you haven't noticed I just came back from the hospital and I didn't even get a chance to go to my room and change my clothes before Sarang dragged me here under the guise of finding her lost doll. Which I now know was a ruse to get me in here. Someone must've put her up to it. I am sure of it. And once I get out of here, I am going to teach whoever planned all this a lesson. It's one thing to mess with me. But dragging my daughter into this and teaching her to lie, there is no way in hell I am letting this go." Jin fumed, clenching his fists.
"Why don't you ask your other brother about whose idea this all was? I am pretty sure he has the answers to all your questions." Namjoon gave a snide remark, making Taehyung glare at him, angrily.
"What is he talking about, Tae? Do you know something about this?" Jin questioned, making Namjoon smirk in victory.
"Look, Hyung, don't worry about it, alright. I will handle this." Taehyung tried to dodge the question. But Jin was having none of it.
"What do you mean by, don't worry about it? We are locked inside the moldy basement and you are telling me to not worry? Your response could only mean that you already know who locked us in here. So who is it? It can't be my five year old daughter. That's for sure." And now Taehyung was in a dilemma as to how to answer that question without throwing his boyfriend under the bus. And he wanted to strangle his dumbass boyfriend to death at that moment for putting him in that position.
"He won't answer you, Hyung. Because he is trying to protect his friend." Namjoon was enjoying this way more than someone in his situation should. And Taehyung wanted to wipe that stupid smirk off of his brother's face.
"Are you implying that Jungkook is the one who locked us in here? But why would he do that?" Jin asked, confused.
"I wasn't implying anything, Hyung. I am 100% positive that he is the one behind all of this. As to why he would do something like this, then I am not the right person to answer that question." Namjoon spoke, giving a pointed look to Taehyung which he ignored.
"Wait a minute. Did you divulge our private conversation with your friend? How else would he know there was a fight and why else would he lock us in here? Surely, it can't be for pure entertainment." And when Taehyung just lowered his head without saying anything, Jin knew he was right and he couldn't believe his brother could betray his trust like that.
"I can't believe you, Tae. I get he is your friend and you trust him. But you had no right to talk about our private matters with him. What you did was a breach of our trust and I can't believe you would betray us like this." Jin was deeply hurt by Taehyung's action, who in turn was hurt by Jin's accusations.
"Hyung, how can you even think that I would betray your trust like that? Yes, I did confide in him about my fight with Namjoon Hyung, but I never told him what led to the fight or about your personal problems. It wasn't my secret to tell. As for why I would confide in him, it's because I trust him. I know you don't know him and he is practically a stranger to you. So I understand your concerns, but to me he is not just another friend. He is someone very close to me. Someone I respect and trust more than myself. So even if you don't trust him, trust me." Taehyung spoke, earning a scoff from Namjoon.
"You are talking as if we don't have people in our lives that we trust and respect too. I didn't even confide in my wife whom I love while you think it is alright to share everything with your friend because you trust him. And we are just supposed to accept it just like that because you said so? Really?" Namjoon mocked sarcastically while Jin looked back and forth between his two brothers and decided he didn't need this shit. This was exactly how it started back in the resort and he really wasn't in the mood to break up another fight.
