Shocked, Numb and Angry. Those were the emotions Taehyung went through in that order while Jungkook was just plain shocked. He wasn't angry. He didn't understand why Ji-ah would treat him so harshly. And he didn't care either. Because he was more worried about Taehyung's reaction. And he was right to be worried because one look at Taehyung and he could already see the bulging veins and eyes red with anger. And he knew that Taehyung was just one stone throw away from bursting a lid. And the only reason he hasn't yet was because of Sarang, who was hugging his neck like a koala.

"Kookie, do you mind taking Sarang to the car park? I will be right behind you." Taehyung asked, his voice calm like an Ocean while inside his heart, there was a storm brewing.

"We will all go together, Tae. There is no reason why we shouldn't. So, let's just go, alright" Jungkook spoke, trying to persuade Taehyung to let it go. He even tried pulling Taehyung by his arms to get him to walk with him, but Taehyung didn't budge even an inch from his position and continued to look away from Jungkook like he knew one look into his eyes and he will lose the battle and do whatever Jungkook asked of him.

"Tae, please. I know you're angry. But I am asking you to let it go. If not for me, then for Sarang's sake. Please. Let's not make a scene here." Jungkook pleaded in Taehyung's ears since bargaining didn't work. And this time Taehyung did look at him. And just as he feared, Taehyung could feel all his anger and determination leave his body from just one look into Jungkook's big bambi eyes. Jungkook could probably ask him for his life and he would happily tear out his heart and give it to him, then this was nothing for him.

"As you wish." Taehyung commented and stormed out of there, carrying Sarang in his arms, leaving Jungkook alone with Ji-ah, who was still crouching on the floor with her back turned to them. She had stopped puking and was not simply sitting on the floor, exhausted, but Jungkook couldn't bring himself to feel even an ounce of sympathy for the girl.

"Get up and follow me if you want to come with us. If not, you're free to take a taxi home. Because we are not waiting for you." Jungkook informed her before walking away. He didn't even turn back to make sure whether or not she was following him and to be honest he didn't care either. She is a grown ass woman. And they're not in some jungle. She can very well find her own way back if she wants. There was no need for him to go out of his way to ensure her safety and well-being after the way she behaved with him. He was a good man, but not a freaking Saint. Not letting Taehyung kill her and still letting her come with them was the only extent he was willing to go to.

Taehyung was already in the driver's seat with the engine reared to go when Jungkook reached the parking lot. Sarang too was situated behind with all her plushies, happily playing, making Jungkook sigh in relief that the earlier incident hadn't affected her as he feared. And it was only when he was about to open the front door to get in when he realized that Ji-ah had indeed taken his advice and followed him. Jungkook didn't pay her any attention and was about to get it when she interrupted him midway.

"I should be the one sitting there and not you." Jungkook looked at the girl like she had grown two heads and he couldn't believe her audacity. At this point, Jungkook was sure that she had a death wish. He was able to control Taehyung once, but if she kept this shit up, Jungkook was sure he wouldn't be able to control Taehyung for a second time.

"Listen Ms. Ji-ah, I don't know what your problem is and I don't want to know either. But if you do not wish to be stranded in a parking lot, then I suggest you keep your mouth shut and get in the damn car. I stopped Taehyung from strangling you once. But I sure as hell isn't going to do it again." Jungkook whisper yelled so as to not make Taehyung suspicious before nudging her with his shoulder and getting in the front seat. Ji-ah clenched her fists and gritted her teeth in anger at Jungkook's blatant dismissal of her. But she still got in the backseat, albeit begrudgingly and shut the door a bit too loudly, making everyone in the car flinch.
