Jungkook was pissed. Why? Well, because of his stuck up, entitled and egoistic boyfriend, ofcourse. It's been almost a week since the whole incident at the resort happened between the brothers. And to their luck, Taehyung managed to sneak inside the Mansion without anyone's notice. And once they were inside their bedroom, Jungkook helped Taehyung cover up his black eye with the help of some concealers. So no one in the family knew what happened. Though they couldn't say the same for Namjoon, who wasn't so lucky.
He was found out and bombarded with questions as soon as he had stepped foot inside the Mansion. And after seeing Namjoon's face, he realized that Taehyung really wasn't kidding when he said that his brother got it worse. Fortunately, Namjoon gave the whole family some bullshit about someone trying to jump him in the dark for his wallet when he went for a walk alone at night. And how he didn't see the perpetrator's face because he was wearing a mask and some such bullshit.
Jungkook wanted to hand it to Namjoon for not throwing Taehyung under the bus and he even felt bad for the guy for a second. But that feeling went out the window as soon as Taehyung explained in detail what had transpired between them. Well, minus Jin wanting the divorce part. And Taehyung had to physically restrain Jungkook to stop him from storming up to Namjoon and breaking his bones. He felt like what Taehyung did was completely justified. Cut to now and he was over it. He was done with Taehyung walking around with a Do Not Disturb sign over his head. And he was done with listening to him whine and complain about how unfair his brother was being and how he was never going to talk to Namjoon until he apologized.
Now, normally, Jungkook would just let Taehyung vent to him by offering a comforting ear and would not try to butt in matters that doesn't concern him. But this was not one of those times. Because this time, it did affect him. More like it affected their plan. Because so far Jungkook didn't have much success in getting close to Taehyung's family other than Mi-Su and YoonSeo. But he also knew that having Mi-Su and YoonSeo on their side won't be of much use since they don't really have that much say in the family matters, especially YoonSeo.
And that is why he wanted to get close to Jin and Namjoon. Which seemed impossible right now because of his own boyfriend who was unwilling to keep his ego and pride aside for one goddamn second and bury the hatchet. So even though Jungkook believes that Taehyung is right, he still wants him to apologize to Namjoon for purely selfish reasons. Who the hell cares about right and wrong when your whole future is on the line? Taehyung can go back to being angry at his brother after they achieve their goal. Which if he was being honest, was more difficult than climbing Mount Everest.
So, here he was, hiding from his stubborn jerk of a boyfriend who refuses to listen to him and is acting like a petulant child. And Jungkook had enough. He needed a break. A few minutes away from Taehyung before he loses it and kills his stupid boyfriend with his own hands.
"Stupid dumb annoying egoistic jerk. Why the hell did I even fall in love with someone like him?" Jungkook muttered angrily as he kept throwing pebbles into the small fountain in their back garden. And he hoped Taehyung won't come looking for him for atleast a while. But that hope went out the window when he heard rustling sounds behind him, making him groan in frustration.
"Oh for Godsakes, I was away for barely ten minutes. Leave me alone. I will come back in when I am ready. So, please just go away" Jungkook spoke without even bothering to turn around. But upon receiving no response, he sighed in exasperation and turned around to blast his boyfriend only to widen his eyes in surprise after seeing the unexpected intruder.
"Oh, hey there. I thought you were someone else. So forget whatever I said, alright? I wasn't talking to you." Jungkook replied sheepishly as he eyed the tiny human in front of him.
