Chapter 4

SALVATORE SCHOOL - KITCHEN - DAY
[Lizzie moves around the kitchen, dancing frenetically. Each wave of her hand, something flies across the room. A plate. A glass. A knife. She’s crying/dancing/destroying. Alaric enters, taking it all in.]
"What's happening to her?" Asled Caroline.
"She has bipolar disorder. What happened with Rafael triggered her." Said Hope.
"Oh" Said Caroline and looked at her girl worried.
Alaric: Liz. Elizabeth. [A knife goes sailing across the room. She realizes just in time where it’s gonna hit and stops it, inches from her father’s face.]
"Oh my god!" Said shocked Caroline.
"Wow" Said Stefan.
[He doesn’t flinch as he plucks it out of the air, setting it down. Her face crumbles.]
Lizzie: Hi, Daddy...
Alaric: Hi, baby.
"Hi, baby? He almost got killed." Said Damon.
"It was accident and he is fine." Defended Caroline.
HOPE AND AUDREY’S DORM ROOM - NIGHT
[Audrey is dressed up for the party and is looking in the mirror.]
Audrey: Are you sure you don't want to come?
Hope: You know i don't like parties.
"You should have come. It was awesome." Said Audrey.
Audrey: (shruggs) Your choice. [Audrey leaves.]

[Jed Tien is on the stage and singing "Sexy and i know it" by LMFAO. Audrey is drinking, dancing and cheering on Jed.]
"Who is he?" Asked Klaus.
"My best friend. He was also my right hand when i ruled the pack." Said Audrey. Audrey sees Klaus's expression.
"No, don't look like that. We are platonic. I swear." Said Audrey. Hayley smiled at that, happy she has friends.

Audrey: Me and Jed happened to join this school around same time, which is probably one of the best accident ever, Because now for 2 years Jed has been my right hand and best friend. He helped me take care of pack, so this party isn't only for me, it's for him, too. Let's cheer for Jed! [Werewolves cheer again. Some others join, too. Jed smiles.]

[Hope watches Cutthroat Kitchen alone. Restless. Out of sorts. Finally she gets up and exits.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL - WEREWOLF BUNKER - NIGHT
[Landon tries to sleep, but he can't.]
Hope: (O.S.) Hey.
Landon: (brightening) Hope.
Hope: Can’t sleep either?
Landon: (indicating) Small spaces. You?
Hope: Sometimes I get...restless.
Landon: Busy brain?
Hope: Busy everything. My body... has a lot going on inside of it.
Landon: Which is an awesome segue into you telling me why you can move things with your mind.
Hope: You ask a lot of questions.
Landon: Wouldn’t you? [She doesn't answer. Landon smiles to himself.]
Hope: Why are you smiling?
Landon: I’m remembering the night we danced in the town square.
Klaus glares at Landon, so do other Mikaelson men.
FLASHBACK- 2 YEARS AGO- MYSTIC FALLS TOWN SQUARE.
Landon: (O.S.) I’d had a good day. This asswad from school who used to mess with me got what was coming to him. And you were there, and the music was good... [Landon in the flashback as he asks Hope to dance. We join the scene as it happened.]
Landon: ...so, before my luck runs out -- which it will... Do you maybe want to dance, or something? [Hope smiles.]
"You have such a cute smile." Said Audrey and pinched Hope's cheek. Hope slapped her hand away.
"Ouch." Said Audrey.
Hope: You want me to dance with you?
Landon: Fair warning, I might suck at it. Kinda living in the moment, here.
[He holds out his hand. She smiles, taking it.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL - WEREWOLF BUNKER - NIGHT
Landon: Just like me to crush on the girl with the most baggage.
"I will kill him!" Said Klaus.
"No, you won't!" Said Hope.
"But he..." said Klaus.
"Daaad!" Protested Hope.
Hope: I’m gonna try for the sleep thing again --

Hope: I can be... dangerous to people.
It’s better if I keep my distance.
"What do you mean? You aren't danger even for a fly" said Audrey.
"We both know it's not true." Said Hope.

Hope: (a deflection) Again with the questions. [She disappears into the darkness, leaving Landon alone again.
He sits back. Mind racing with thoughts of her. When -- Clang. A noise outside the cell startles him. He smiles.]
Landon: Couldn’t stay away, huh?
[He moves towards the door, when --
WHAM! The door flies open on its own and Landon is yanked from the cell by an unseen force, his body slamming against the wall--]
Audrey, Klaus and Kol laugh at Landon. Hope looks at them annoyed.
[as he’s pulled down the long hallway and hurled into the shadows -- with no sign of his assailant whatsoever.]
