Chapter 25

SALVATORE SCHOOL-AUDREY AND HOPE'S ROOM- EARLY MORNING
[Hope and Audrey are sleeping. Audrey is hugging wolf plushie.]
"You are sleeping with toy?" Laughed Damon.
"So are you. But am i saying anything about your doppelganger?" Said Audrey. Klaus, Kol and Marcel burst out laugh. Hope and Hayley chuckle, too. Damon is about to answer, but both Stefan and Caroline stop him.
FLASHBACK-9 YEARS AGO-DISNEYLAND
[8 years old Audrey is holding toy gun and shooting at target. Audrey misses again and again and she looks very annoyed.]
Mikaelsons smile at seeing little Audrey.
Klaus: Which one do you want?
Audrey: (frowns) The wolf! But i can't hit target!
Klaus: I can buy you one like it.
Audrey: Nooo... I want that one! And you have to win. That's the point!
Klaus: What if i tried? [Audrey gives a gun to Klaus and he hits the targets. Audrey cheers and jumps up and down.]
Audrey: That was so cool. You hit all of them! [Klaus smiled at her.]
"You have your own cheerleader now." Laughed Kol.
"Jaelous?" Said Kalus and Audrey together.
"Oh bloody hell! There is two of them!" Groaned Kol. Klaus and Audrey chuckle. Elijah, Freya and Hayley look amused.
Klaus: (to man) You heard her. [Men brings wolf plush.]

[Grinning Audrey takes the plushie.]
Audrey: Her name will be Andrea.
Klaus: (surprised) oh?
Audrey: After mom and Hope.
"What do you mean?" Asked Stefan.
"Mom's birth name is Andrea and Hope's middle name is also Andrea. It was my first birthday away from them, so i named the toy after them." Said Audrey.
"Aww... so cute." Said Davina.
"Adorable." Said Hope teasingly. Audrey punches her arm. Hayley smiles.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HOPE AND AUDREY'S DORM-EARLY DAY
[Audrey wakes up. She looks around and only sees sleeping Hope.]
FLASHBACK-10 YEAR AGO- HAYLEY'S SAFE HOUSE
Klaus: We're not going anywhere today. I want one day of peace with my daughters. Before we uproot them.
"It's our first meeting with dad." Said Hope.
"Yeah, because some 200 years old asshole decided he wanted to act like a bloody teenager and blame daddy for every bad thing that has ever happened in his stupid life." Murmured Audrey.
"They killed Davina." Said Marcel.
"No. Uncle Elijah and Aunt Freya made that decision, so if you wanted to be angry at someone, it should have been them. Even through they had reason. I love you, Aunt vina. I really do, But if Aunt Freya and uncle Elijah didn't do it, Lucien would kill every Mikaelson. (To Marcel) If it was choice like yourself, Aunt Davina and your vamps wanted to survive and you had to let... for example Vincent or Josh die for it. You would do it. Despite how much they mean to Davina or Cami or others. Despite how good people they are. You would do the same. Is it okay? Absolutely not. But the choice was worse or the worst." Said Audrey. Elijah and Freya smile at her for defending.
"And what about killing me, huh? What about it?" Said Marcel, his temper raising.
"Uncle Elijah did it after seeing prophesy that you would be downfall of Mikaelsons. Which turned out true by the way. But that's not the point. Dad would never and i mean never agree to kill you. I mean he forgave you for keeping him away from his daughters and keeping in a dungeon for five bloody years with the knife that causes unspeakable pain. Does that sound like someone who would kill you? No. Uncle Elijah did it, not dad." Said Audrey. Elijah looks pained and guilty by the fact that he was the one who killed Marcel.
"You had no fucking right to take our father from us. You had no right to take the chance of being raised by both parents from us. Do you know what it's like to be five year old girl and to look at father and daughter's playing and be sooo jaelous and wonder why everyone has dad, but you don't? Mom tried to explain, but how do you explain to children that their dad is being tortured by their step-brother?... Gooood, it feels so good to finally let it out!" Said Audrey. Hope is looking down at her hands. Klaus and Hayley look sad. People look at Hope and Audrey sadly.
"I'm sorry." Said Marcel.
"Yeah, well, sorry doesn't fix it. Maybe not do that when you go back." Said Audrey.
"I won't." Promised Marcel. Audrey nodded and looked back at screen.
Freya: Any delay is a risk.
Klaus: One day. We're in the middle of nowhere, the house is cloaked. We weren't followed, and I'm not asking!
Hayley: Everybody, look who's awake.
Hope/Audrey: Hello.
Klaus: Hello.
Hope: Mom, can I go play in the garden?
Hayley: Yeah. Sure. [Hope goes.]
Audrey: Sorry, Hope is shy. I'm Audrey.... (awkwardly) which you already know.
Klaus: I'm Klaus.
Audrey: I know. You are my dad.
Klaus: I am. [Audrey smiles.]
Audrey: Mom said you are very strong and love your family very much.
Damon snorts. Audrey and Hope glare at him, along with Elijah and Klaus.
[The she looks at others.]
Rebekah: Hi, i'm Rebekah. Your aunt.
Audrey: Hi. You are beautiful.
Rebekah: (grinning) Thank you. You are very beautiful, too.
Audrey: I know. [Klaus and Kol chuckle. Hayley shooks her head amused.]
People chuckle.
"You are always so cocky." Said Hope.
"It's not being cocky if it's true." Said Audrey.
Audrey: Mom told me about all of you. (To Rebekah) You are very brave and you helped mom lots of times. (To Freya) You are powerful, witchy aunt- Freya. (To Kol) You are prankster uncle- Kol. [Audrey goes to Kol and whispers.]
Audrey: We can prank Hope later.
"Of course." Rolled her eyes Hope.
"You love pranks?" Asked Kol.
"Yeees. We have pranked dad so many times. You once taugh me hair changing spell and dad walked with pink hair for a week." Laughed Audrey. Everyone laughed imagining Klaus with pink hair.
"Kooool!" Glared Klaus. Kol and Audrey smiled at him innocently.
[Kol chuckles and nods. Mikaelsons look at her fondly. Then Audrey turns around and points at Elijah.]
Audrey: You are the uncle suits-Elijah, who mom is in love with. [Mikalesons burst out laughing, except Hayley and Elijah.]
Everyone bursts out laughing, except Hayley and Elijah.
"You two are so obvious." Chuckled Hope.
Hayley: Audrey!
Kol: (laughing) I like her.
Audrey: (innocently;to Hayley) What?
Hayley: Where did you bring it from? Was it Mary?
Audrey: It's obvious. You are always smiling when you are talking about him and you...
Hayley: (blushing) i-i-- Go to your sister.
People chuckle at Hayley.
Audrey: Bye, Uncle suits, brave aunt, fun uncle, witchy aunt and daddy!
Klaus smiles.
[Audrey runs to Hope.]
Hayley: Slow down!
Klaus: (smiling) She called me daddy.
Audrey smiled.
[Hope is painting outside of Hayley's Safe House. Audrey is playing with ball. Klaus sits next to Hope.]
Klaus: That's lovely.
Hope: Mom said you like to paint, too.
Klaus: I do. Very much. [Hope puts a piece of paper in front of Klaus for him to have and Klaus sits down to paint with Hope. Audrey sits next to them.]
Klaus, Audrey and Hope smile at the scene. Others are smiling, too.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-ALARIC'S OFFICE-DAY
[Alaric is talking on phone.]
Alaric: I know what you're doing is important, Caroline. But how do I tell the girls that their mom isn't gonna be there for their birthday?
"I'm missing my daughters' birthday?!!!" Said Caroline horrified.
"You have reasons." Reminded Stefan.
"I still should be with them!" Said Caroline.
Alaric: I can't exactly tell them what you're really involved in. [Someone dressed in wedding dress is walking.]
"Who is it?" Asked Freya.
"Another Malivore creature?" Offered Elijah.
Alaric: No... I-I am nowhere near cracking this case. I have a Knife, I have a symbol, I have a place, sort of, but I don't know what any of it means, a-and I don't know what's connecting it, and I don't know what monster is coming next.
Jo: Ric? [Alaric turns around and looks shocked by who he sees.]
"Jo?" Asked shoked Salvatores.
"Jo as in..." said Hayley.
"Lizzie and Josie's bio mother." Said Hope. Everyone looks surprised.
Alaric: I've got to call you back.
[Alaric hungs up phone.]
Alaric: Dorian! [Dorian runs in office.]
Dorian: Are you okay? [Alaric is pointing crosswbow at Jo.]
Dorian: Whoa, whoa.
Jo: Ric, if you could just put down the crossbow. My freak-out level is about right now.
"How is she there?" Asked Damon. No one had answer except Hope and Audrey, who chose to not answer.
Dorian: You know her?
Alaric: I know who she's supposed to be.
Dorian: Who?
Alaric: The love of my life.
FOREST-NEAR SALVATORE SCHOOL-DAY
[Someone is walking. Looks like a man, but we don't see the face. Hope and Audrey are running in forest.]
Hope: Drey!
Audrey: Hope! Can-- do you feel it?
Hope: Like your wolf is calling? [Audrey nods.]
"What are you talking about?" Asked Klaus.
"I don't know how to explain... it's... it's like it's pulling you?" Said Audrey.
"I had the same feeling when i first met my pack." Said Hayley.
[They hear footsteps and Audrey pushes Hope behind her.]
Elijah smiles at Audrey's protectivness despite his worring.
[Hope tries to get out, but stills shoked when she sees who came. Klaus Mikaelson. All three of them look shocked.]
"Klaus?" Said Everyone.
"Me? I thought i died." Said Klaus.
"You did." Said Hope with sad look.
"Then how am i there?" Asked Klaus.
"Everything will be explained." Said Audrey.
Audrey/Hope: Dad?
Klaus: Littlest wolves.
FLASHBACK-10 YEARS AGO-WOODS
[Hope, Audrey and Klaus are walking and chatting in the woods.]
Klaus: I painted on animal skins, mostly. Bark, cave walls...
Hope: You lived in a cave?
Klaus: I lived in a hovel, all of us crowded into two rooms. It was actually nicer than it sounds. Though your Uncle Kol snored. Loudly, I might add.
"I did not!" Yelled Kol.
"You did." Said Klaus.
"No, i didn't!" Protested Kol.
"You did." Said Klaus.
"I didn't." Said Kol. The most of the people in cinema look surprised about their sibling manner banter.
Audrey: It sounds cool.
Hope: Yeah, always having so many kids to play with.
Klaus: It was cool, actually. But I still felt alone. Different from my siblings. For one thing, I loved art. I used to make my own paints from flowers and berries. These orange ones are the most vibrant.
Hope: I like orange.
Audrey: I like green.
"Why are you trying so hard to get involved?" Asked Damon. Audrey glared at him.
"I was a kid and that was the first time i met my dad when i could remember. So when they already found something in common, i was jaelous." Said Audrey.
"You were jaelous?" Said surprised Hope.
"Like i said i was kid." Said Audrey.
Hope: Oh, there's a butterfly. I think it's stuck.
Klaus: Yeah, it has a broken wing.
[Hope and Audrey take off their bracelets and hand it to Klaus.]
Hope: Shh. Don't tell our mom.
Audrey: Shh. It's a secret. [Hope and Audrey hold hands, close their eyes and put hands out. They fix the butterfly's wing with magic and the butterfly shortly flies away.]
"It was beautiful." Said Davina.
Klaus: That was impressive.
Hope: Mom says when we get bigger, Freya will teach us real spells.
"Did i?" Asked Freya.
"Well, you trained me." Said Hope.
"Uncle Kol trained me. Unlike Hope i didn't go to supernatural school, so i needed more than learning spells. And Uncle Kol knows more about supernatural world than you and about magic." Said Audrey. Freya looks offended, Kol-proud.
"No offence, of course. He has just spent more time learning everything about magic than you." Said Audrey.
Klaus: I think you're doing rather well all by yourselves.
Audrey: We can't always control it.  [Hope nods.]
"It's hard for us-Mikaelson witches to contol magic, because we have lots of it. Excpecially if you are a Tribrid or firstborn or both." Said Freya.
Hope: It scares me sometimes. [Klaus kneels in front of them and holds their hands.]
Klaus: You, loves, are the daughters of Klaus Mikaelson. You're going to be the greatest witches the world has ever seen. And nothing will scare you.
Audrey and Hope smile. Other Mikaelsons smile, too.
Audrey: I know what you are, you know. The strongest in the world.
"After us, of course." Said Audrey and winked at him.
Hope: Strong enough to keep all of the bad things away.
Klaus: (worried) What bad things?
Hope: Just bad guys. Monsters. People who are mean, selfish, and angry.
"You just described your father." Said Damon. Audrey summons Damon's tongue out. Damon screams in pain.
"If you don't shut up, i can do it again." Said Audrey.
"Damon! Why can't you just be quiet sometims?" Whisper yelled Caroline.
Klaus: Nothing is going to harm my little girls. Nothing will even get close. You're all that matters to me. [Hope and Audrey hug Klaus.]
Klaus: You're trembling. Are you cold?Hope: Yeah.
Audrey: I've been cold a while now.
Klaus: Well, let's get you inside then, eh? (To Hope) You can show me your drawings. [A blue light appears in the forest as they walk away.]
"What's that?" Asked Hayley.
"Inadu or otherwise known as Hollow." Said Hope.
"That's why we were cold. Normally we don't get cold, Cause you know... we are tribrids." Said Audrey.
Audrey: Something is wrong. I don't like it. [Audrey closes her eyes and when she opens. She isn't trembling.]
"What was that?" Asked Freya.
"I felt her magic touching mine and i just... pushed it out." Said Audrey.
"How? You are just 7." Said Freya.
"I'm also a firstborn Mikaelson Tribrid. That's why i was able to go with dad. My magic barriers are stronger, so she couldn't take over me." Said Audrey. Witches look intrigued.
"You really are the most powerful witch." Said amazed Kol.
"Duh." Said Audrey.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-ALARIC'S OFFICE-DAY
[Alaric is still pointing crossbow at Jo.]
Jo: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Dorian: Wait. Hold up. Hold... hold up, Ric.
Jo: Listen to Dorian. Are you Dorian?
Dorian: Yeah.
Jo: I'm Jo.
"Maybe one of the Malivore creature can conjure dead people." Said Kol.
"It would explain it." Said Freya.
"But why Klaus or Jo?" Asked Hayley.
"They are distraction." Realised Elijah.
Dorian: You're his dead wife? I m... I mean fiancée. I mean, uh... You don't think she's actually...?
Alaric: No, I don't.
Dorian: Did you see how she got here?
Jo: I was sort of, um... yanked awake and then I was just here.
Alaric: Nothing suspicious about that.
Dorian: You thinking what I'm thinking?
Alaric: kill her now before she attacks?
"Alaric got feistier." Said Damon. Audrey looks annoyed that he already grew back tongue.
Jo: Wait, what?
Dorian: I-I... I was more, "Let's interrogate her." Because if she's the next monster, then maybe she would know more than the dryad did.
"Logical." Agreed Marcel.
Alaric: (Sighs) Okay, but no one sees her. Especially today.
Dorian: Good idea.
Alaric: I need Emma.
FOREST-NEAR SALVATORE SCHOOL-DAY
[Hope and Audrey push Klaus at tree with magic.]
Audrey: Who are you?!
Klaus: I'm Klaus Mikaelson.
"You won't belive me, will you?" Asked Klaus.
"Would you?" Said Elijah.
"No." Answered Klaus.
"We did. Eventually." Said Hope.
"It took only two questions. I would say we believed pretty quickly." Said Audrey.
"Because i used truth spell." Said Hope.
"Not the point." Said Audrey.
Hope: You are lying! He... he is dead!
Klaus: I was. I don't know. I just woke up here. [Hope and Audrey look at him suspiciously.]
Hope: Veritas tempus
"What's that?" asked Hayley.
"Truth spell." Answered Hope.
Audrey: What did you gave me on my thirteenth birthday?
"You casted truth spell and you asked question only i would know. Good job. Both of you." Said Klaus.
"Thanks." Said Hope and Audrey.
Klaus: I took you and your classmates to paintball, then KFC. It's really me. I don't know how, but...
Audrey: What was the last words you said to us?
Klaus: I said that i love you... more than all the days and nights, deeper than the oceans and the skies.
Mikaelsons smile at Klaus.
Klaus: Then you asked me how do we do this? And i said i wish i knew.
Hope: (cries) Dad!
Audrey: (cries) Daddy! [They both run at Klaus and hug him. All three of them are crying.]
People look at them sympathetically.
