[People are doing homework. Blood drips on paper. We see it's droping from MG's mouth and MG is in his ripper mode.]
"Another nightmare." Said Caroline.
[Kaleb purs his hand on desk and noise snaps MG out of dream.]
Kaleb: Yo, what-what is this? You can't say these things about Big D, my man. Okay? Like, the guy, you can't, you...
MG: Is that my presentation?
Kaleb: Yo, just because you need to dry out does not mean you need to take down the entire vampire canon.
"What are they talking about?" Asked Davina.
"I don't know. We are year older than them. They aren't in our class." Said Audrey.
MG: Just because vampires have been like this for the last century doesn't mean we have to stay that way.
Kaleb: What are you...? MG, what...? [MG walks away.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL-CLASS-DAY
[MG is doing presentation in front of class.]
MG: Dracula, as a novel, has only retained relevance in modern times because of our patriarchal culture's obsession with the idea of a privileged, powerful man who does absolutely what he wants with absolute impunity.
"Oh god. He is a vampire. How can he do that? If anyone in my pack made something like this about werewolves, they would... not like my reaction." Said Audrey.
MG: Meaning we've spent weeks in this class analyzing the literary value of a character who basically abuses consent in every way... [MG's voice fades in background. Students are writing tests. Landon raises his hand.]
Teacher: What is it, Mr. Kirby?
"Another dream?" Asked Eijah.
Landon: I think there's some kind of mistake. I'm not... I don't think I'm supposed to be taking any tests. It's my first day.
Teacher: Of course you're supposed to take an exam. If you don't pass, you're not allowed to stay.
Landon: But I haven't even started. I didn't know.
Teacher: I suggest you produce answers and not excuses. Five minutes left, everyone. [Landon looks through big test. He starts to write, but pencil breaks.]
Landon: (Sighs) I'm sorry. I need another pencil.
Teacher: On the desk near the window. [Landon stands up and goes to take pencil. Students start laughing.]
"This is such a basic nightmare. So boooring." Said Audrey.
[Landon looks down and sees he is in only underwear. Everyone keeps laughing.]
Landon: This is a nightmare. How do I wake up?
Night hag: (Echoing) You know what you must do, Landon. Bring it home. [Landon stabs himself with pencil in hand. He wakes up gasping loudly. Evryone looks at him.]
MG: ...because that is what we deserve as... as the student body. [Landon looks at his stabbed hand.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HALL-5:00 P.M.
[Audrey and few students are sitting in a circle. Playing truth or dare.]
Nora: Jed, truth or dare?
Jed: Dare.
"We played it to not fall asleep." Said Audrey.
Nora: Make out with Lela for ten seconds.
Jed: Lela?
Lela: Sure. [Lela and Jed make out.]
Audrey: 1,2,3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... [Lela and Jed pull away.]
Jed: Audrey, truth or dare?
Audrey: Dare
Jed: Call Lizzie Saltzman and tell her you love her and can't live without her.
"No!" Said Klaus.
"Dad, i though we already said i'm straight. It's just a dare." Rolled her eyes Audrey.
Audrey: (horrified) No, no, absolutely not.
Max: (smirks) You must do it. It's a dare.
Jed: You heard witchy. [Audrey glares at them and calls Lizzie.]
Audrey: Hi, Lizzie.
Lizzie: Audrey? Why are you calling?
Audrey: I-l- [Jed shows her go on motion. Audrey glares at him.]
Audrey: I- i love you and i can't live without you. [Audrey looks like she's gonna throw up.]
"I can't belive he made me say that to Lizzie. Lizzie of all people." Said disgusted Audrey.
Lizzie: W-what? Are you drunk? No, you wouldn't say that if you were drunk. Have you finally gone mad, Mikaelson? I knew it would hap-- [Audrey hangs up on her and narrows her eyes at Jed and Max.]
Audrey: You will pay for it... Max, truth or dare? [Max groans. Jed grins happily that it's not him.]
Audrey: (to jed) Don't be happy. You'll be next. [Jed's smile drops.]
Max: Truth. [Audrey smirks, picks up lie detector sphere and gives it to Max.]
Audrey: Who is the most beautiful girl in room?
Max: Iris [Sphere glows red. Iris glares at Max.]
Iris: I AM YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!! [Max looks ready to run.]
Audrey: (smirking) You are supposed to say truth.
Max: Audrey. [Sphere glows blue.]
"I knew he had a thing for me. Which was very unfair to his girlfriend." Said Audrey.
"So you decided to expose him?" Said Caroline.
"That and i told him i would get revenge." Said Audrey.
[Iris glares at her and takes the crystal from Max.]
Iris: (to Audrey) Truth or dare?
Lela: That's not how it works! It wasn't your turn. [Iris glares at her and turns to Max.]
Iris: You are giving me your turn! [Max nodded scared of pissed of girlfriend.]
"Smart decision." Said Davina.
Audrey: Fine. Truth. [Iris gives sphere to Audrey.]
Iris: Is it true that your father is a monster?
Everyone looks at girl shocked, then remember Audrey's reaction to Alaric and look scared for girl.
"Audrey?" Said Hayley worried. Audrey doesn't answer.
[People took sharp breath at that and looked at Iris worried. Audrey's pack members glare at Iris with Audrey.]
Max: (whisper yells to Iris) Do you want to get us killed?!
"Obviously." Said Kol.
Audrey: (glaring furiously at Iris) No. [Sphere glows blue.]
Klaus looks at Audrey surprised.
"She is delus--" Said Damon, but before he could finish the sentence Audrey snapped his neck.
"It needs to learn when to shut up." Said Audrey calmly. Kol chuckles.
Iris: H-how? You lied! How did you do it?!
Audrey: (glaring) I didn't lie! My father wasn't a monster. He wasn't good person, sure. But he wasn't monster either. [Sphere glows blue.]
Klaus looks touched and he smiles at Audrey. Mikaelsons are all smiling.
Iris: Tell that to people he killed.
Audrey: Oh, Don't pretend to be innocent, baby vamp. You have killed, too, didn't you? And if you went through even the ten percent of what he did, you wouldn't survive and just turn it off, baby vamp! But he did survive and it left impact on him. Yes, He has killed, tortured, maimed, manipulated, but he also loved, protected, cared.
Klaus tears up.
"Dad, are you crying?" Asked Audrey.
"No." Said Klaus and looked away. Audrey and Hope chuckled at him.
Audrey: He loved our whole family even if he made mistakes with them.
Iris: (snorts) Yeah, mistakes. You mean he daggered them for centuries and made their lives hell. [Max tries to take Iris away, but he can't budge her. He gives her pleading eyes to stop this.]
"She is suicidial." Said Caroline, scared for the girl.
Lela: (whipers to Jed) At this point she is begging to get killed.
Jed: (whispers to Lela) I'll help Audrey hide the body. [Lela nodded. Iris hears them with super hearing and glares.]
"Aww. It's so sweet." Said Audrey.
"This is sweet?" Asked Freya.
"Yeah. They would hide body for me. How sweet is that." Said Audrey.
"You are weird." Said Davina.
"Duuh. I would hate being normal. It's sooo boring and ordinary." Said Audrey. Kol agreed.
Audrey: From the day dad was born all he saw was violence, so yes, he didn't know how to show love right way and daggered them. But in his own way, he was protecting them. In his own way, he was keeping them with him, so they wouldn't abandon him like many did. In his own way, he loved them and He wasn't a monster, because monsters aren't capable of loving.
"She is such a daddy's girl." Said Marcel, realising Audrey would defend Klaus no matter what.
Audrey: He loves me, my sister, our family and he sacrifised himself for it. He spent his entire life fighting for survival, but he gave it up for my sister. Was he good father? Absolutely. Was he good man? No. Was he good brother? Sadly, no.
"At least, she admits that." Said Kol.
"I amn't delusional! I don't agree with ways he treated you. Understanding and agreeing are different." Said Audrey.
Audrey: But was he monster? Also no. [Audrey's eyes turn yellow and she breaks chair.]
People look worried again.
Audrey: And you have no right to drag my father into this only because your boyfriend likes me more than you! [Iris looks scared and she tries to get up, but Audrey pushes Iris back with magic and then stabs her close to heart and makes stake brush at her heart.]
"Audreey!" Said horrified Hayley.
"I won't kill her. I was just warning her." Said Audrey.
"Warning her? You have stake aimed at her heart!" Said Hope.
"Yes, but i'm not stabbing her in heart, am i?" Said Audrey.
[Lela is holding back Max.]
Lela: Don't get involved or you'll get it, too.
Audrey: And if i hear you call my dad or any of my family members monster again, i'll make night hag look like a fairy godmother compared to me, Got it, love? [Iris nods scared.]
"Thank you, but i would prefer if you didn't fight with everyone who doesn't like me. It's too long of a list and this won't change anything." Said Klaus.
"They will at least learn to not mess with me or insult my family in front of me." Said Audrey.
"Then change their mind. Not by violence, but by doing good. Prove them you aren't a monster." Said Elijah.
"I don't have to prove myself to anyone." Crossed her arms Audrey. Hayley sighs.
Audrey: Get out before i change my mind! [Iris vamp-speeds away. Scared Max runs after her. Before anyone say anything, Alaric's voice is heard.]
Alaric: (Over P.A.) The senior witch faculty has mixed together a batch of energy herbs to help you stay awake. So, for those of you who are not getting on the evacuation bus, for lack of a better term, please dose yourselves responsibly. [Students come in and bring energy herbs.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL- ALARIC'S OFFICE-DAY
[Hope is putting cream on Landon's hand.]
Alaric: I'm gonna get sued. Or hexed, at the very least.
"Well, you decided to become headmaster of supernatural school. Your fault." Said Davina.
Landon: You don't have to be so hard on yourself. At my last school, the gym teacher was dealing coke under the bleachers.
"And that's supposed to make him feel good how?" Said Caroline.
Alaric: Oh, yeah, that only makes me feel marginally better. [Hope puts cream on injury.]
Landon: Ow.
Hope: Hey, uh, hold still. I'm almost done, okay?
"Since when did you become doctor? First Rafael, now Landon." Said Klaus.
Landon: Okay. What do you think she meant when she said "bring it home"?
Alaric: I'm guessing she means Malivore. It seems her plan is to torment us until we produce the urn.
Landon: Right. But if the Night Hag is a monster that's trapped on the astral plane, then how can she even physically take the urn anywhere?
Alaric: Yeah, the book also says the Night Hag can't affect our reality, but...
Rafael's welt and your hand seemed to prove that wrong. When your research consists of fairy tales and urban legends, sometimes the stories get twisted.
Hope: Human dragon, anyone?
Alaric: Dorian might be busy with the evacuation, but we'll figure this out. When the Night Hag finds a way to get the urn, we'll be there to stop it.
Landon: Well, at least it was a pretty memorable first day. [Hope bandages Landon's hand.]
"I'm sure it was." Said Freya.
Alaric: Yeah, and the Night Hag is likely just getting started. You know, Landon, I really wish you'd just evacuate with the others.
Landon: I worked so hard to get here. If I run at the first sign of trouble, what's the point?
Alaric: The point, Landon, is that we're trying to look after you.
Landon: Honestly, you two are taking better care of me than anyone in my life ever has. (To Hope) Course, I had to stab myself to get your attention.
"Next time aim for heart." Scrowled Klaus. Hope and Audrey chuckle at Klaus's protectivness.
"And he is the one lecturing me." Chuckled Audrey.
"Because i don't want you to be like me. I'm not role model, Audrey." Said Klaus. Audrey frowns. Elijah looks proud of Klaus.
Hope: You know, we're all good here.
[Hope leaves.]
Landon: (to Alaric) I'm blowing this, aren't I?
Alaric: You know, Landon, sometimes the best thing for Hope is to just let her be Hope. Stay busy. She'll talk when she's ready.
