Ainsley was sat beside Cyno, who seemed excited about the triwizard tournament.

"Who do you think will be selected?" Cyno faced Ainsley before answering,

"I feel like Viktor Krum would be a good competitor."

" What? Are you a fan or something? " Ainsley raised a brow.

" Not really, I'm not the biggest fan of quidditch. " Cyno looked back in Dumbledore's direction.

The blue flame turned red and out came a note which the Headmaster caught.

"The Durmstrang champion is Viktor Krum!" The Durmstrang students cheered, while Krum got up and shook Dumbledore's hands.

"Looks like you called it." Ainsley mumbled, earning a little yeah from Cyno. He was so intrigued by the announcement. Ainsley would've been too, had she not known the contestants already.

The flame roared and spit another note out.

"The champion of Beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour!"

Now it was Beauxbaton's turn to cheer. Fleur got up as well and joined Viktor.

The supposed last note flew out.

"The Hogwarts champion, Cedric Diggory!"

Ainsley cheered along with her fellow friends.

"The Beauxbatons champion is so pretty, isn't she?" Iris exclaimed.

"I know right??" Ainsley joined in.

" Yeah. " Cyno agreed with the two.

Ainsley slowly frowned and turned to him. "So you think she's pretty?"

"Well, yeah.. she's pretty." He answered, not sure if it was the right thing to say.

Kaveh was shaking his head, trying to tell him that it was the wrong move while Serene listened intently, curious as to how this conversation would end.

"Fine then." Ainsley ripped her eyes away from him and stared into nothing. Cyno looked at her, thinking to himself.

"But I don't think she's as pretty as you."

Now that caught Ainsley's attention. She turned back towards him, trying her best to not let her face break into a smile.

"You mean that?" Cyno nodded. That was when Ainsley finally smiled.

"Ugh, gross." Carla rolled her eyes, Draco agreeing with her.

The cheers and applause, however, didn't last long as the Goblet Of Fire glowed red once again. Confused eyes wandered all around the room.

Another piece of paper flew out.

Dumbledore's expression changed into one that was unrecognisable. But Ainsley and Nora immediately knew what was going on.
