[Cyno POV.]

Ainsley threw her hands around my torso and cuddled close the moment I stepped inside her room.

"Hey there, darling." I planted a kiss on her forehead. She only gave me a whine in reply. "Something wrong?"

My hands found their way to her back, caressing it to soothe my girl out of her worry.

"My body hurts like crazy and I want to kill myself." I could feel her warm tears on my shoulder. A wave of worry washed over me.

"Don't say that, tell me what's up." I retreated one of my hands to wipe her tears.

"I've got a uterus but there is no baby in it, that's what's up!" She hit me on my shoulder, startling me a bit.

"Why? You want kids? You're still a kid-" She hit me again, harder this time. "Ouch, darling."

"I'm on my period, silly!" Oh. I felt my ears turn red recalling just what I was saying to her.

"I'm sorry, I thought- I-" I backed away, facing her.

"You thought I was crying because I was sad that I didn't have a baby?" She spoke. "Well I am now! I wouldn't be bleeding painfully if I did."

"So are you sad because of the pain or because you're not pregnant?" I frowned. This was confusing.

"Neither! I'm sad that you let go of the hug!" She slapped her hands to her hips, complaining.

"Oh, sorry. Come here." I approached her with my hands spread apart. She backed away. "Darling, don't be upset now."

I didn't really know what she was upset with. I really thought it was because of not having a baby because just the other day, after a whole day of watching cute baby videos, she started crying about how she wanted one but was too young for it.

It was Ainsley, random things like that was all she did.

"I'm not upset, I'm hungry." She pouted, her mood switching like lightning.

"Should I make you something?" I suggested, finally hugging her again.

"Well, hungry isn't the word but," She hugged back, her hands resting on my shoulders. "I'm craving hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows with a side of cuddles."

"Say less." I kissed her cheek, releasing my grip on her. "Do you wanna come along to my room or are you gonna wait here?"

"I'll go with you. I don't wanna be alone." She said, already grabbing her stuff to leave.

Kuro purred at her, asking to come along.

"And I don't think you'll be much trouble." Ainsley scooped Kuro up in her arms.
