    I wasn't breathing, I was probably dead by now.
    I couldn't believe my eyes. 
    What was supposed to be a birthday dinner-date with Cyno turned out to be something bigger.
    "Happy Birthday!" Candace was the first to exclaim.
    She was followed by Skyler and Vivienne, and then my cousins joined in.
    "Bet you weren't expecting this." Sawyer, my brother, commented.
    "Yeah. Thank you." I was out of words, I couldn't get myself to do anything but thank them.
    "Cyno gathered all of us here, he should be the one you thank." Carla revealed with a proud smile.
    I looked at Cyno, who was already looking at me. 
    "Surprise? I hope you like it." He chuckled awkwardly.
    "I love it!" I didn't resist the urge to hug him close. He was a little startled but immediately reciprocated. "I can't thank you enough for this."
    "You deserve it." I could hear his smile as he said it.
    "Aww, love at its finest." Kaveh commented.
    "Sure, but we have a birthday to celebrate. You two can carry that on later." Theo deadpanned, the usual.
    "Yeah, the cake's super gorgeous, take a look!" Serene pulled my arm to sit as I broke the hug.

    I let out an audible gasp, slowly sitting down my seat.
    "Who made that?? Lindsey and Edward?" I looked up in amaze.
    "Nope, not this time." Nora answered. "The truth is more shocking."
    "Yeah, the good for nothing boozers somehow managed to make this." Carla revealed, I looked to the side and saw Draco and Theo posing.
    "Are you sure it's not poisoned?" 
    "I mean, we made them eat a little of everything they added and they seem well so..." Iris shrugged.
    "Great. Thanks, you two!" I exclaimed, passively clicking pictures of the cake.
    "Actually we were going for a deep blue color, like the ravenclaw color, but my buddy didn't know the difference between dark red and magenta." Draco teased Theo, who smiled sarcastically since he couldn't say anything vulgar.
    "It's okay, purple's my favourite." I chuckled at the information.
    "You know, I was actually going for purple. I did it on purpose, so I do know the difference between dark red and magenta." Theo tried defending himself.
