Another busy workday at the office greeted Mon as she arrived, with everyone seemingly caught up in the frenzy of the morning rush.

Approaching Yha, Mon inquired about the commotion. "What's happening?"

Yha sighed, "Everyone's on edge because Sam erupted like a volcano this morning."

Noi chimed in, "Yeah, Sam arrived early and demanded all reports to be submitted within an hour. She slammed her door like it was going to collapse."

Internally, Mon couldn't help but wonder why Sam was so hot-tempered. Perhaps it was due to whatever happened last night with Nop.

As they discussed, Sam's office door suddenly swung open. Sam emerged, demanding her coffee and questioning the whereabouts of the reports in a loud voice.

Noticing Mon nearby, Sam snapped, "You, come inside. We need to talk."

Mon's expression turned curious and worried as Noi and Yha offered supportive words in her direction "Good Luck Mon"

Without wasting a moment, Mon hurried to Sam's office. Bursting through the door, she confronted Sam directly.

"What's your problem, Sam?" Mon asked, her tone firm yet concerned. "Why are you so hot-tempered this early in the morning?"

Mhee followed closely behind, carrying Sam's coffee and preparing to deliver it.

As Mhee handed Mon a cup of coffee, she added, "This is for you, Mon."

"Thank you, Mhee," Mon replied gratefully as Mon placed the coffe on Sam's table as Mhee left the office, closing the door behind her.

Turning her attention back to Sam, Mon sensed the tension in the air. "What's going on, Sam? If I knew, I wouldn't be asking," Mon said, her frustration evident.

Sam let out a frustrated sigh. "It's impossible that you don't know," she insisted.

Feeling a bit exasperated, Mon responded, "Then why don't you just say it straight? Why are you exploding like this?"

Sam stood up abruptly, rushing to confront Mon face to face. "If you want to know the reason, then who is Nop?" she demanded, her voice tinged with frustration. "Is Nop your boyfriend?"

Mon couldn't help but chuckle at the sudden accusation, finding it amusing that Sam is actually jealous of Nop.

Sam's frustration grew as she continued, "Is Nop the reason why you don't want to rekindle our relationship? Because you have a boyfriend now?"

Mon couldn't hold back her laughter, giggling and scratching her forehead in amusement at Sam's assumptions.

Growing even more frustrated, Sam demanded, "Why are you just laughing and giggling at me, Mon?"

With a hint of amusement, Mon remarked, "You're really charming when you're jealous, Sam."

Sam quickly denied, "I'm not jealous."

Raising an eyebrow, Mon teased, "Really, Sam? Are you sure?"

With frustration mounting, Sam demanded, "Who is Nop?"

Drawing closer, Mon gently grasped both of Sam's arms before leaning in to steal a kiss. As she pulled back slightly, Sam's eyes widened in shock, holding her nose in surprise while Mon looked away, a hint of embarrassment playing on her lips.

Confused, Sam asked calmly, "What was that for?"

With a teasing smile, Mon replied, "Don't you know?"

Leaning her face towards Mon's, Sam questioned in a serious tone, "Would I ask if I knew?"

Grinning mischievously, Mon simply replied, "That's your answer."

Confused by Mon's response, Sam uttered, "Huh?"

Amused by Sam's confusion, Mon continued, "Would I kiss someone if I had a boyfriend?"

Realization dawned on Sam as she gave Mon a knowing look.

Mon clarified, "Nop is my cousin. We lived together in England when you married Kirk. That's why he knows about my pain."

Feeling embarrassed, Sam looked away as Mon added, "I hope that clears up your jealousy," and attempted to walk away.

As Mon attempted to leave, Sam grasped her arms firmly, pulling her back towards her. Caught off guard by the sudden gesture, Mon lost her balance, stumbling towards Sam. Reacting quickly, Sam caught Mon and pulled her into her embrace, leaving them gazing at each other with their faces mere inches apart, feeling each other's breath.

Mon's heart raced, her eyes widened in shock at the unexpected intimacy between them.

Sam grasped Mon's arms, halting her attempt to leave, and pulled her closer. Mon's sudden turn caused her to lose her balance, and Sam caught her, pulling Mon into her embrace. They found themselves gazing at each other, their faces mere inches apart, feeling each other's breath. Mon's heart raced, her eyes widening in shock.

"How can I be sure you're telling the truth?" Sam asked, her voice filled with uncertainty.

Mon tried to break free from Sam's embrace, replying in a struggling voice, "Why ask if you won't believe me?"

Refusing to let go, Sam insisted, "What if you're just saying it to get me to stop asking?" Mon continued to struggle against Sam's hold.

Giving up on breaking free, Mon sighed, "If you don't believe me, then so be it."

Sam tightened her embrace, pulling Mon closer and demanded, "You need to prove it."

Pushing Mon's head back gently, Sam leaned in, capturing Mon's lower lip with a gentle suck. Caught off guard, Mon fell hard, closing her eyes and savoring the moment.

As Sam pulled back, Mon slightly followed her lips, still closing her eyes as if longing for more. Opening her eyes slowly, Mon saw Sam gazing at her, a smile playing on her lips. Startled, Mon finally broke free from Sam's embrace and tried to regain her composure.

Sam smiled triumphantly as if she had won the conversation, then turned away from Mon and took a seat, finally sipping on her coffee.

Curious, Mon asked, "What was that for?"

Teasingly, Sam replied, "I did that for two reasons. First, because I've been dying to kiss you, and second, to see if you would stop me."

Confirming her suspicions, Sam added, "You didn't stop me, and it seemed like you wanted more."

Mon remained silent, feeling embarrassed.

Sam teased Mon about why she hadn't stopped her from kissing her.

Uncertain of how to respond, Mon replied, "Do I need to answer that?"

Giggling at the tension in Mon's voice, Sam replied, "No, you don't need to answer anymore. You showed me your answer after I kissed you."

Mon furrowed her forehead, knowing that Sam was right and that she had indeed fallen for the kiss. "I should get back to work," Mon said as she left the office. However, Sam called her back.

Mon turned and asked, "What else do you need?"

Sam replied, "You left your coffee."

Mon grabbed her coffee and left Sam's office, feeling a mix of embarrassment and confusion.

Sam followed Mon with her gaze as Mon closed the door behind her, leaving Sam alone in the office.

Feeling overwhelmed with emotions, Sam clutched her chest, overcome with feelings of love as if her heart would burst with joy.
