As the weekend began, Mon couldn't shake the heavy feeling weighing her down. The events of the past few days replayed in her mind, leaving her feeling low and unsettled.

Sitting alone in her room, she sighed, feeling the weight of the unresolved tension with Sam. "This isn't how I wanted things to be," she murmured to herself, her thoughts consumed by the rift between them.

Mon's phone chimed with Tee's message, asking about weekend plans. With a heavy heart, Mon typed out a response, "Not really in the mood, sorry."

Almost instantly, Jim's reply popped up, cutting through her melancholy. "Mon's not in the mood? Is it because of Kirk staying over at Sam's?" Her words hit too close to home, leaving Mon feeling exposed and vulnerable.

Kade raised an eyebrow as she read the messages in their group chat. "So, Kirk stayed over at Sam's house?" he asked, a hint of curiosity in his tone.

Jim's response came swiftly, "Yeah, seems like it. Wonder if they shared a room?"

Tee chimed in, "I heard Sam's grandma is all about family. Maybe this is her way of pushing Sam and Kirk together to start a family. You know, a grandbaby."

Mon's frustration boiled over as she read their speculations. "This is ridiculous," she muttered to herself, her mood darkening even further.

Mon's phone buzzed with messages from Tee, Jim, and Kade, each offering words of reassurance.

"But hey Mon, don't jump to conclusions," Tee typed quickly. "We know Sam. She's not a liar. If something did happen, she'd tell you."

Jim chimed in, "Exactly. They've been married for three years. If anything was going to happen, it would've by now."

Kade's message appeared next, echoing their sentiments. "Try not to worry too much, Mon. We've got your back." Reading their supportive words, Mon felt a glimmer of hope amid her frustration.

As the weekend drew to a close without a word from Sam, Mon's frustration reached its peak. She couldn't shake the image of Kirk and Sam, along with their grandmother, spending the entire weekend together.

Back at work on Monday, Mon's fury simmered just beneath the surface, evident in her terse responses and furrowed brow. Her phone buzzed incessantly, each call met with a swift end as she ignored them one by one.

Yha, Noi, and Chin exchanged worried glances as they observed Mon's behavior. Finally, unable to contain their concern any longer, Yha spoke up. "Mon, what's going on? You've been on edge all morning."
Mon's heart skipped a beat as Yha handed her the buzzing phone. "It's Sam," Yha said softly, her expression concerned.

Taking a deep breath, Mon answered the call. "Hello?"

"Mon, it's me," Sam's voice came through the line, sounding tired but urgent. "Can you come to my office? We need to talk."

Mon hesitated for a moment, her instinct to refuse Sam's request strong. "I don't think that's a good idea right now," she started to say.

But Sam interrupted firmly, "If you won't come in, then I'll come out there. We need to talk, Mon, and we'll do it at your station if we have to."

Mon sighed, realizing she had little choice. "Fine, I'll come to your office," she relented reluctantly.

Mon entered Sam's office, her demeanor guarded as she glanced at Sam waiting for her.

Mon couldn't contain her sarcasm any longer, her frustration bubbling to the surface. "So, Sam, should I book another week at a resort for you and Kirk? You know, for some extra 'relaxation' time?"
