Mon returned to her workstation, her mind still reeling from the encounter in the restroom. As she settled into her chair, she caught Yha's gaze from across the room. There was a silent understanding between them, an unspoken acknowledgment of what had just been revealed. They exchanged a knowing look, communicating volumes without uttering a single word.

Sam approached Mon's workstation with determination, her mind preoccupied with urgency. "Mon, can you come to my office for a moment?" she asked, her voice carrying a sense of urgency.

Mon, caught off guard by Sam's request, hesitated for a moment. "I'll follow in a while, Sam," she replied, her tone uncertain.

But Sam wouldn't take no for an answer. She reached out, grabbed Mon's hand, and gently pulled her towards her office. "It's important, Mon. Please," she insisted, her grip firm yet reassuring.

Noi, Chin, and Nuch exchanged curious glances as they observed Sam's unusual behavior, noticing that she seldom calls other employees into her office.

"There's definitely something going on between those two," Chin whispered to the others, her tone filled with intrigue.

Nuch chimed in, recalling the moment when she caught Sam and Mon exchanging glances. Yha, seated nearby, quickly hushed them, urging caution. "We shouldn't meddle in their personal affairs," she warned.

Chin, however, couldn't help but express sympathy for Kirk. "It's not right how Sam treats him," he remarked somberly.

Mhee nodded in agreement, adding, "Maybe Kirk already knows what's really going on between Mon and Sam. That's why he was asking Noi about Mon."

Noi's heart raced as she recalled Kirk's probing questions about Mon working at their office. "Guys, remember when Kirk asked me about Mon? I couldn't lie to him," she confessed nervously, her voice barely above a whisper.

As Noi was explaining her concerns, Sam approached Yha, her expression stern and determined. Catching Noi's gaze, Sam silently demanded her presence in her office after she finished speaking with Yha and Mon.

"Yha, let's go," Sam said firmly, her eyes still fixed on Noi, leaving no room for argument. With a nod from Yha, they headed towards Sam's office, leaving Noi feeling uneasy under Sam's intense scrutiny.

As Yha and Mon exited Sam's office, Yha approached Noi. "Noi, Sam wants you in her office," she informed her.

"Noi, don't worry too much. You got this," Nuch said, offering Noi a reassuring smile.

Chin chimed in, "Yeah, just be honest. You'll be fine."

Mhee added with a grin, "Good luck, Noi. You got the whole squad behind you."

Noi nodded nervously and stood up, making her way to Sam's office. The rest of the group exchanged glances, curious about what was going to unfold.

"Come in," Sam called out as Noi knocked on her office door. Sam looked up from her laptop and gestured for Noi to take a seat in front of her desk.

"I heard you talking earlier," Sam began, her tone serious. "About Kirk asking you questions."

Noi's expression shifted slightly, sensing the gravity of the conversation. "Yes, he did. He asked about Mon and if you two often see each other," she replied, her voice tinged with apprehension.

"I told him everything," Noi confessed. "I couldn't lie to Kirk, Sam." Her voice wavered slightly, betraying her unease.

"Did Kirk say anything else?" Sam inquired, her voice steady but her eyes searching Noi's.

"No, he just thanked me and ended the call," Noi responded, her tone subdued.

Sam nodded in understanding, offering a brief word of gratitude before signaling for Noi to leave, leaving Sam to contemplate the weight of Noi's confession.

As the day neared its end, the team began to disperse, with Noi, Chin, Nuch, and Yha inviting Mon to join them for the evening. However, Mon declined, exchanging a knowing look with Yha, who nodded subtly, indicating she would wait for Sam outside her office.

Understanding the silent communication, Yha swiftly suggested to the group that it was time to head home, mentioning that Sam and Mon still had some tasks to complete after their earlier meeting. Before leaving, Yha shared a brief glance with Mon, who mouthed a silent "thank you," to which Yha responded with a reassuring OK gesture.

Mon entered Sam's office with a sense of urgency, finding Sam lost in thought, her head propped up by her hand while her other hand idly twirled a pen.

"Sam," Mon called out softly, noticing the exhaustion etched on her face.

Sam looked up, stress etched across her face, as Mon entered the room. Sensing Sam's fatigue, Mon approached, wrapping her arms around Sam's shoulders, concern evident in her eyes.

"What's on your mind, Sam?" Mon inquired softly, her voice laced with worry.

Sam sighed, leaning back into Mon's embrace. "I can't shake off the feeling that Kirk might know about us," she admitted, her voice tinged with anxiety.

Mon's grip tightened slightly as she absorbed Sam's words. "I'm afraid too," she confessed, her own fears bubbling to the surface. "Especially now that Yha knows everything. If the team starts suspecting us, it won't be long before Kirk finds out too."

Sam's eyes widened in surprise. "Yha knows?" she questioned incredulously. Mon nodded solemnly, recounting the unexpected encounter in the restroom.

Sam spun her chair around, motioning for Mon to sit on her lap. As Mon settled in, Sam enveloped her in a warm embrace. With a playful glint in her eye, Sam teased, "Maybe we should just come clean to the team. Then we won't have to hide anymore."

Mon chuckled softly, resting her head against Sam's shoulder. "As much as I'd love that, it might not be the best idea," she replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Sam's fingers deftly undid a button on Mon's blouse, a mischievous glint dancing in her eyes. "Imagine, we could do whatever we want without sneaking around," she teased, her voice laced with playful intent.

Mon quickly straightened up, halting Sam's advances with a worried expression. "But what if Kirk finds out?" she interjected, her tone tinged with concern.

Sam's gaze softened as she reached for Mon's hand, offering words of reassurance. "Mon, I love you. I'm willing to shout it from the rooftops if it means I get to be with you," she declared earnestly, her voice brimming with conviction.

Sam gently cupped Mon's face, her eyes reflecting unwavering determination. "Mon, no matter what challenges come our way, we'll face them together. I promise you, we'll never break apart," she vowed, her voice infused with sincerity. "I love you more than anything, and I'll fight for us every step of the way."

Mon smiled, her eyes shining with affection. "I believe you, Sam. I love you too," she replied softly, reaching out to intertwine her fingers with Sam's.

Sam returned the smile, squeezing Mon's hand gently. "We'll get through this together, Mon. I'm here for you, always," she reassured, leaning in to place a tender kiss on Mon's forehead.

Their bond strengthened by their mutual love and support, they faced the uncertainty ahead with renewed determination and resilience.
