Mon found Sam sitting on a bench near the edge of the resort garden, her shoulders hunched and her face hidden in her hands. Mon approached quietly, taking a seat beside her.

"Sam," Mon said softly, her voice laced with concern. "I want you to know that I'm not trying to ruin your fun. I just worry about you and the baby, that's all."

Sam remained silent, her sulking demeanor evident.

"Just hear me out, okay?" Mon continued, reaching out to gently touch Sam's arm. "We can still enjoy the beach together, but we need to be cautious. Your health and safety, as well as the baby's, are my top priority."

Before Sam could respond, Jim and the others arrived, their voices breaking the moment. They excitedly informed Mon about Nuea's arrangement for additional accommodations.

Sam's expression soured further at the news, and she muttered under her breath. "I thought it was supposed to be just us."

With that, Sam stood up abruptly and walked away, leaving Mon to sigh in frustration. She knew she had to find a way to reassure Sam and salvage their vacation.

Tee looked confused as to what was bothering Sam. "What's happenning?"

Mon sighed, feeling awkward about the situation. "Sam overheard Cher and Riza discussing my request," she explained.

Yuki looked intrigued. "What request?" she asked.

Mon hesitated for a moment before admitting, "I wanted to plan a surprise proposal for Sam now that she's legally annulled. But with her sulking like this, I'm not sure how to pull it off."

Jim leaned in, a glimmer of hope in her eyes as she spoke. "Mon, think about it. Sam is already expecting something, right? So, if you play your cards right, she might not even see it coming."

Mon's curiosity piqued, and she looked at Jim, waiting for her to continue.

"We can use this opportunity to throw her off track," Jim suggested. "We'll make her think it's just another day, and then boom! Surprise proposal."

Mon's face lit up with excitement as she considered Jim's words. "That could actually work," she said, feeling hopeful for the first time since Sam started sulking.

Meanwhile as Sam returned to their room, she sat on the bed, her mind churned with conflicting emotions. She felt a mix of frustration, disappointment, and sadness swirling within her. Closing her eyes, she let out a sigh, exhaustion weighing heavily on her. Unbeknownst to her, sleep crept in, enveloping her in its comforting embrace as she drifted off into a restless slumber.

As Mon stepped into the room, her gaze immediately fell upon Sam, peacefully asleep on the bed. A soft smile graced Mon's lips as she approached, her heart swelling with adoration for her slumbering partner. With gentle care, she adjusted the blanket, ensuring Sam was snug and comfortable.

Kneeling beside the bed, Mon's eyes lingered on Sam's peaceful expression. Tenderly, she reached out, delicately brushing a stray lock of hair from Sam's face.

With a playful grin, Mon leaned in closer to Sam's sleeping form, her voice a soft murmur in the quiet room.

"Hey there, sleepyhead," she began, her tone warm and affectionate. "I owe you an apology. I need you to sulk just a little bit longer, okay? I promise it'll be worth it."

With a gentle stroke of Sam's cheek, Mon planted a tender kiss on her forehead before retreating from the room, leaving behind a promise of sweet redemption for her beloved.

With one last lingering gaze, Mon reluctantly pulled herself away from Sam's side, knowing she had to leave the room. Yet, even as she stepped out, her heart remained tethered to Sam, overflowing with love and adoration for the sleeping beauty she cherished above all else.
