March 10th, court day
Jamie's arms are wrapped tightly around me, gently stroking my belly. We'd been so happy that we were expecting our little one. The moment we told the family is a moment we'll never forget.

We sat everyone down at the table and they looked worried since we acted quite serious. "So Claire and I need tae tell ye all something," Jamie said. "What is it? Has it to do with the court? Is everything alright?" Ellen asks, worried immediately. Brian placed his hand on hers to calm her down and I could see William grinning over his mothers worry.
"No, it hasn't anything to do with that, the men are still locked up, dinna worry about that," Jamie reassured them, taking my hand. I smile at him and he looks at me. "Do ye want tae tell them? Or should I?" He whispers in my ear. I smile looking at the eager faces around us while Jamie takes his sweet old time.
"You tell them," I whispered back. He nods and we turned back to them. "Okay two things happened. One, we have bought a house, it's absolutely beautiful and big enough for us," Ellen smiled brightly and took my hand. "That's amazing, darlings. I'm so happy for you,"
Everyone congratulated us without knowing the big surprise was yet to come. "The second thing is, Claire is pregnant, around 3-4 weeks," Jamie says and it gets really quiet, shocked faces around us. Jenny is the first one to let out a happy laugh. "That's amazing!" She hugs me and Jamie.
"You're not joking are you?" Ellen asks, still with a surprised look. "No, I'm not! I'm really pregnant," I say and stand up to hug Ellen. "Oh my loves! I'm so happy for you both," I told her for a moment, tears burning in my eyes. Eventually she lets go of me and goes over to Jamie. I hug Brian, William and Murtagh before going back to Jamie. He too has tears in his eyes. I wipe them away and give him a small kiss. "You're going to be a dad!"
"And you a mom," he says softly holding me tightly. "An amazing mom," I smile and kiss him again.

"How do ye feel Claire? Any nausea?" Jamie whispers, taking me out of my thoughts. "A little, but I lay to comfortably to move," he brushes my hair away from my face and I turn to face him. "Are you nervous?"
"A wee bit, but I'm sure we'll be fine. Are ye?" he asks stroking my cheek. "Yes, I'm very nervous. What if they are found not guilty? What if they'll walk free again?" I say, sounding much more panicked then I wanted. "Shh, Sassenach. Dinna fash yerself, they willna walk free but we will and we'll raise our happy family together without them ever bothering us again,"
He kisses me gently on my forehead and we cuddle for another couple of minutes before I have to hurry to the toilet to throw up. Jamie holds my hair back and strokes my back. "Take a shower, put nice but relaxing clothes on and I'll make ye some breakfast,"
I nod and do as he says. The shower is refreshing and I apply a little make up too. I put on a white blouse and black jeans with a black jacket. Before going downstairs I look at our calendar. March 24, our first scan. Hopefully we'd be able to see our little kid clearly. April 7, moving to our new home.
While we'd be at court, Murtagh, Brian and William promised they'd start at the house, making it as ready as they could for us to start putting our online bought furniture. It was really sweet of them since we don't know how long the case will be and we want to be settled when the baby would be there. But we hoped it wouldn't take 8 months.
"I made a fruit salad Sassenach, ye dinna need to eat it all at once if ye cannae," Jamie says. I sit down. "Thank you," I take a few bites until I start feeling nauseous again. I pack it in my bag and Jamie and I cuddle until 12 pm and we have to leave for court. To go and gain our justice.
