"Hey" Chrissy tapped Cheryl's shoulder while she did her hair in the locker room "Oh hey Chrissy!" Cheryl turned around and smiled when she saw the familiar face, her and Chrissy were great friends, they both met at cheer practice. Cheryl patted down her dark green skirt that matched the school's color, she was getting ready to cheer before the pep talk. "are you excited for the pep talk?" Chrissy asked, she sprayed on lavender scent perfume on her clothes and neck so she would smell good "not really" Cheryl sighed "I just know it will be boring" Chrissy chuckled at her friend "Most likely, here" Chrissy handed her perfume over to Cheryl "you're a life saver, I need to buy perfume" Cheryl admitted while she spray the fresh smell on her clothes. "of course"

"alright get ready!" A grown women who worked at the school loudly spoke so every cheerleader could hear "when the announcer yells for you guys, come running out" The women went back to the gym "Thank you all for joining!" The grown men that was in the gym with a microphone said "Give a round of applause to the Hawkins Cheerleaders!" Cheryl ran outside of the locker room with the other girls, swinging her green and orange pom pom's. "GO CHERYL!!" She heard Robin yell, she had on her band uniform and stood by Vickie and Clair.

"Before we start with the pep talk, we would love it if the cheerleaders start the day with their moves!" Chrissy nodded her head, meaning start the dance. Cheryl's hips swayed to the beat and followed the dance moves the other cheerleaders did. The loud sounds of the horns of the trumpets were heard, Cheryl looked over to see Robin standing near Clair and Vickie on her left, Clair was glancing at Robin with the corner of her mouth upturned.

The dance was soon finished with a man doing flips, the whole gym erupted with claps from everyone and cheering. Cheryl waved her pom-poms in the air before sitting on the cold floor that they were supposed to sit on "you did great" Chrissy complimented "I did? You did so much better" Cheryl had a toothy smile "But damn that was a workout" She wiped her sweaty forehead with her hand "I know, I need water."

"and lets here it for your tigers!" The guy spoke on the microphone, the whole basketball team ran through the paper, making it break. Everyone cheered loudly when they ran through the basketball court "Good morning Hawkings High!!" Jason, Chrissy's boyfriend, yelled on the mic. Cheryl didn't have anything against Jason, he was kind to her but hated the outcast, like Clair.

Jason took the mic off from the stand and walked around the court "first off, i'd like to thank each and every one of you. Without your support, we wouldn't be here. Give yourself a big hand!" Cheryl clapped her hands together "And of course, I have to give a special shout out to the best and prettiest fans of all time, the Tiger Cheer squad!" Cheryl clapped her hands once again "Chrissy.." Jason patted his chest, where his heard is "Chrissy I love you babe." Chrissy blew a kiss to her boyfriend "ooooooo" Cheryl teased "shush" Chrissy's cheeks were pink from blushing.

"you know....I think I can speak for all of us when I say it's been a tough year for Hawkins.  So much loss." The gym stayed quiet "and sometimes I wonder 'how much loss can a community take?'.  In dark days like this, we need something to believe in. So last night, when we were down by  ten points at half to Christian Academy, I looked at my team and I said  'think of Jack, Think of Melissa, Think of Heather,  think of Billy. Think about our heroic police Chief Jim Hopper." Cheryl's face scrunched up in disgust, Jason was practically comparing their deaths to a basketball game, it made her feel sick.

"let's win this game for them! And that's exactly what we did! We embarrassed those candy asses in their own house, and tonight, tonight , were gonna bring home the championship trophy!!!" Jason yelled, everyone screamed in excitement while Cheryl had a sharp stinging pain in her head, like a headache. She felt a liquid fall from her nose, it was blood. She quickly wiped her nose with her index finger before anyone could see it.
