Neil: (confused slightly as Mini said it all of a sudden) Hmm... Okayy... You thought which one to buy or do you want to explore the options and think about it?
Mini: I was thinking of XUV700.... Delhi me job kar rahi thi na main tab I saw its features, price etc... Mere account me uss time kuch 24 lakhs jaise ho gaye the... Abhi tak 29 something honge... To I thought of it jab kuch collegues ne li thi... And they said it's nice.
Neil: Hmm... Suna to maine bhi hai... It's spacious and had luxurious features... Bahot se variants bhi hai uss car ke...
Mini: (excitedly) It has a sunroof too.
Neil chuckled at her childish excitement while nodding.
Neil: Kab leni hai?
Mini: Vahi to tumse puch rahi hu... Meri pehli car hogi na.... So I don't much about car purchasing and all... Delhi chalein?... Vaha variants bhi mil jayenge... Tum soch lo... Aaj nikalna hai ya agle hafte?
Arya came upstairs by then with Biji and heard them talking.
Arya: Kaha ja rahe ho tum dono?
Mini: Hum dono nahi ja rahe hai... Tum bhi saath hi chalogi... Delhi... Main car lene ki soch rahi hu...
Arya: Accha?... Colour main choose karungi... Theek hai?
Mini chuckled and shaked her head.
Neil: To aaj hi chalte hai phir... Hmm?
Mini: Sure?
Biji: Aaj din bhi accha hai... Teej ka shukravaar hai...
Neil: Hmm... Nice... (glancing at his watch) Agar aadhe ek ghante me nikal gaye to enough time bhi hoga options dekhne ka... Maybe aaj purchase bhi kar paayein...
Mini: Nice.
ArMiNeil reached Delhi at early evening and they explored a few variants before deciding to buy the top model of XUV700 with diesel AX7 7 seater features and Arya chose silver colour.
They got the puja done. Mini, smashing a coconut on the stone, sprinkled the water.
Pandit: Laxmi ke pad chinh lagwayiye.
Mini: (to Arya) Arya... Shoes utaarke iss thaali pe khadi ho jao.
Arya: Thaali me per rakhke?
Mini: Hmm.
Arya stood on the thaali of wet kumkum.
Neil lifted her up and took her footprints on the car's hood.
Arya: Are yeh kya kiya?... New car pe mere per ke nishaan lag gaye.
Neil: Ghar ki jo laxmi hoti hai na... Uske per ke nishaan jab nayi chizon pe lagte hai na to ghar me barakkat aati hai.
Mini proceeded with the puja while Neil was holding Arya in his arms.
Arya: (tugging his shirt) Main laxmi?... Kaise?
Neil: Laxmi maa pata hai kaunsi devi hai?
Arya: Paiso ki.
Neil: Laxmi maa paiso ke saath khushiyon ki bhi devi hoti hai... Aur hamare liye khushiyon ka reason kaun hai?...
Arya: Main?
Neil: Obviously... (pecking on her forehead) Kyunki aap hamari choti si pyaari si princess Arya ho na isiliye... Samajh aaya?
