249. Unpredictable happenings.

Next day, Neil was at the restaurant while Mini was doing the pending pension work of Hanuman Uncle which had got some issues.

Suddenly, Mini heard Arya's scream from upstairs, left her laptop there and ran out of her room.

Mini: (running downstairs) Kya hua?

Rani: (panicked) Didi.... Aag lag gayi hai Arya ke room me.

Mini: (running towards her room) KYA?

Reaching her room, Mini saw fire around Arya as the furniture of the room had burning badly and without a sec thought, she ran into the room, kicking the burning carpet and stuff toys. 

The panic created resulted in the neighbours also getting into the house. Biji, Naeem Bi and Dadu too got the news and ran out of Naeem Bi's haveli.

The shelfs had caught fire till then and Arya was finding difficult to breath. She felt drowsiness and couldn't see much through her watery eyes.

Mini saw her shrunken blanket wasn't yet into the fire, she immediately took the blanket and wrapped it around Arya for the fire not to touch her while she takes her out.

Meanwhile,

Neil returned from the restaurant and saw the mob at the haveli gate. He saw Dadu Biji and Naeem Bi getting inside.

Neil: Kya hua Dadu?... Itni bheed?

Dadu: Andar aag lag gayi hai... 

Neil: WHAT?

He ran inside and by the time he reached near the room's door, he saw Mini was draping Arya in the blanket.

He saw the burning bed's top wooden rod was going to fall on Mini. He dodged the people aside and got inside.

Dadu Biji and Naeem Bi too reached and saw Neil getting inside. 

He came in front of Arya from the other side. 

Neil: (pushed Mini back) Mini! Peeche raho.

The rod fell between Mini and ArNe but not on any of them. The mattress too caught fire between ArMi.

Neil lifted Arya in his arms safe from fire. Arya feeling the heat radiated from it, got more fearful and curled herself timidly in his arms while coughing hard. Holding her in his one arm, leaned her on him with her head below his, he ensured she won't get hurt and covered her completely in her blanket.

The other rod too was going to fall and Mini took steps towards them around the bed while coughing due to smoke and pulled Neil.

Mini: Dhyaan se.

The other side rod fell behind him and he wrapped his other arm around Mini protectively in a way that Arya remains between both of them. 

The door had caught fire till then so Neil draped ArMi in his arms tightly so that they doesn't get hurt and even if something falls then it would be on him. 

The door of almirah fell in the way and blocked their way. 

Neil kicked the door out of their way but there were wooden pieces with fire on the doorway. 

The other door's burnt broken piece fell on Neil's shoulder.

"Aaah... ss..." Neil screeched in pain but holding ArMi even tighter, he knew he needs to get them out of here anyhow before anything worse happens as the whole room was badly in fire.

Neil held Mini's waist tightly and raising her, jumped off outside.

Just as they came outside, Neil took off the blanket from Arya's face.
