Author's pov

Seokjin looked at his best friend who was holding unto the fragile body of his ex, or  whatever their relationship was, he knows for sure that they never officially broke things up, but they weren't actually together.

He knew the younger still dearly loved the kid. That's why he never laid a finger on the younger no matter how disappointed he was after finding out what he did.

He could remember clearly how broken he was after that day. He cried himself to sleep every night, and he hardly smiled. He always locks himself up in his room or studio. It took a lot of time for them to finally convince him to start eating properly.

Skipping meals and sleep could do a lot to a person, especially if your mind is busy, the negative thoughts were eating him alive.

So looking at the younger now embracing his love as he let out heart-wrenching sobs would make even the toughest person break.

They both look so weak and unprotected, like the whole world is against them.

Seokjin couldn't help but pity him, just like how you can not choose who your heart beats for. It's very hard for you to make your heart stop beating for that person.

Watching the younger cry for an hour was not a pleasant sight for his friend, but they knew that they cannot help him with anything, so the best they could do was let him cry it all out, atleast that would make his heart feel lighter.

He watched as the younger picked up the unconscious body of his love, holding him so close to him as if he was scared someone might take him away from him.

He couldn't help but feel his heart tighten at the sight of the unconscious boy. The eyes that held nothing but fear whenever they were open looked so peaceful. The boy looked too innocent for this kind of treatment, but something in the older kept telling him he deserved it.

The room became silent after the two left. No one dared to say a thing. They were all feeling guilty, especially Hoseok, since he was responsible for the Jimin's state, but that nagging feeling that keeps on telling them he deserved it was still there, making them view their actions as justifiable.

It was 3am in the morning when Seokjin came downstairs for a cup of water. The weather was a bit dry, and he had forgotten to refill his bottle before going to sleep the previous night.

He had refilled the bottle and was about to go back to his room when he heard small sobs coming from Yoongi's room, he was worried and thought of checking on the younger males to make sure they were alright.

The last thing he'd expected was to hear the youngest's confession. He didn't know when tears started rolling down his face, he can't believe they had made this out of the younger. They were responsible for making an innocent soul feel so vulnerable.

They would shamelessly call him their dongseang, but deep down, they have broken the younger so much. He knew the others couldn't have been able to bear what the kid had been through and still be so positive.

No one could. He is surprised that he is still willing to forgive them after all this. The true question is whether they will be able to forgive themselves.

No matter what the younger did, he was sure he wouldn't have suffered half as much even if he was sent to prison, the younger had all the rights to report them for abuse, but he still held on to the hopes of being their friends one day.

He didn't know when he went on full sobbing mode, but he quickly left there so as not to alert the other two of his presence.

Being alone in his room with his thought, he couldn't help but wonder if the younger was even capable of committing what they had accused him of.

They had not even let him explain himself that night. They took that decision out of anger, but still he pleaded for them to let him explain again and again, but they never listened.

His pleas were always falling on deaf ears, but he never gave up on trying, even so they deemed his persistence as a way to make excuses.... they had never listened.

They've wronged him so much... still yet... he wanna be their friend. The elder cried himself to sleep, waking up too late to make breakfast, so he just ordered for takeouts.

Yoongi had woken up the next morning to someone snuggling into his chest, with his fist tightly grabbing his shirt. His face was in the crook of his neck, making it tingle every time he exhaled.

He smiled looking at the younger, his heart felt complete at the moment, this felt like deja vu to him, he couldn't believe he finally had the younger in his arms again.

He promised himself  that he would never  let go of the younger no matter what. He slowly tried untangling the younger's fist from his chest to go take a shower, but he tightened the hold, making the elder smile at him.

He tried again, but this time, the younger slowly opened his eyes to look at him. He smiled and greeted him good morning, but the younger just looked at him curiously, as if to confirm that he wasn't dreaming.

"Good morning, hyung," the younger one gave his blinding eye smile, which he hadn't seen in a while. He was infatuated by the smile. He missed it so much that he smiled back and sat up.

"Let's get you cleaned up," he said, scooping the younger one in his arms before heading towards the bathroom to make a bath for the younger.

The younger one clings to the older his hands circled around his neck, as he held on to him with a small smile plastered on his face, still finding it hard to believe that this was all real.
