haiden paced the room, taking deep breaths while taking drags of her cigarette.
"you're going to do fine, you've performed a million times before"
"but this time i have to meet people! don't get me wrong, im grateful but it's terrifying"
elijah laughed as he pulled her into a hug, shaking his head playfully at her. ryan pat her on the back gently "come on, you need to be getting ready" he laughed, opening another can of beer
"well you all need out then! i have to change" she huffed, turning back to her clothes railing as she tried to find an outfit "and that includes you hewson." elijah whined playfully before heading out the door.
"now now lad, you'll get other times to eat each others faces off" bobby laughed, patting eli on the back in a joking manner while his girlfriend pushed them all out the room, leaving haiden alone with her thoughts.
the young girl sat in the mirror, staring back at her reflection while nerves ran through her body. she sighed, looking around for her accessories, wanting to be home more than ever. before she knew it, her manager was ushering her towards the stage, her confidence deflating. her friends and the boys were no where to be seen, not exactly helping her confidence issues... but alas she made her way onto the stage and smiled. she forgot how small of a venue it was, barely any people... it was nice.
she sat on the end of the stage, the music dying down as everyone cheered
"oh my gosh, look how many of you there are! i cant believe you're all really here" she laughed, taking a sip of water "so this is just a little get together... some songs, a lovely little signing. i'm so excited!"
spencer couldn't help but admire her best friend upon that stage... they'd been friends since they were young, spencer knew everything about haiden and haiden knew everything about spencer. spencer was with haiden through it all, through the tough times with her family, the hard break ups and her hiatus. spencer truly was haidens first ever safe place. she was so unbelievably proud of everything her best friend had accomplished, before she knew it she was wiping tears from across her cheeks, watching how haiden interacted with such an appreciative crowd
there was nothing more in this world that spencer wanted more than haidens happiness.
the group spent the next hour dancing, drinking and loving each other and everyone else. haiden made her way down, sweaty but not that anyone truly cared, waving to everyone who called for her as she began her signing... spencer and the lads behind her.
