elijah swiped his thumb underneath haidens eyes, wiping away the remenants of tears.
did she want to give in so easily to him? of course not, but she couldn't help herself.

he was elijah.

"come on, molly and lucy will be waiting" he smiled softly, thankful she wasn't completely hostile with him

"i'm sorry... this is, weird" she sighed, pushing him away slightly as she shut off

"it's not weird den, we're friends"

oh, that's got to hurt

she nodded slightly, avoiding eye contact with him. elijah regretted the words as soon as they left his mouth... he didn't see haiden as a friend at all. he was so deeply in love with her and nothing had changed that, but he was sure she was over them and he'd rather have her as a friend than nothing at all

she took a deep breath, freshening herself up before heading back into her dressing room

haiden furrowed her eyebrow's together, wondering where the two girls where until she noticed them huddled around a table with bobby. josh couldn't help my stifle a laugh, looking over at haiden, ryan raising his brow at his heartbroken best friend who stood behind her

"oh shit, she's back" rob mumbled, hiding whatever was sprawled over the table with his jacket... a sly smile on the three's faces

"rob... what did you do"

"nothing den" he laughed nervously

"that better not be birthday bird bingo robert"

"i've been caught out" robert mumbled. the girls cracking up next to him as haiden sighed

"i told you they were really annoying to be around" haiden smiled at the two girls

"we really should be going now, but thank you for all of this. it was amazing to meet you and even inhaler... it's the best birthday ever, thank you haiden" molly smiled, tucking her hair behind her ear

haiden could feel that same feeling in her throat, she couldn't cry in front of the girls so she simply pulled them in for a hug "thank you for being my biggest supporter, i couldn't do any of this without you"

she bid them goodbye, walking out to lead them out of the venue.
ryan couldn't help but stand next to elijah, lowering his voice as rob and josh argued over bird bingo

"what happened out there lad?"

"i can't talk about it mate"

"you're not bottling this up again eli"

"no, it's not my place... trust me" eli sighed, looking over at ryan

ryan simply nodded and patted his friend on the shoulder, leaning into his side "she still loves you, you know"

"what?"

"she has that look about her... the one she had when you two first met"

"she does?" eli smiled slightly

"get her back, mate" ryan smiled, before leaving elijah on his lonesome and joining the lads

the two had continued living together, haiden staying in the spare room... surprisingly, they'd never gotten along so well.
she hated how plain the room was, granted her and elijah had decorated it together but it was decorated for friends and family... not her.
