she couldn't take her eyes off the pair, didn't take them too long to bond over nothing.
she broke contact, turning back to the front of the bench as her hands shook... reaching for her cup.

"you okay den?"

"yeah, thanks rob..." she smiled slightly, shrugging her shoulders before sipping her coke

"i'm just going to head back to the bar, anyone want anything?" eli hummed, passing the remainder of his cigarette to haiden

"just another round lad" ryan smiled, heading inside behind elijah. that settled haidens nerves a little... it wasn't that she didn't trust eli, she just didn't trust gracie

"so... want to know a secret?" rob laughed, looking down at haiden to his side

"if you say it, he'll kill you" josh hissed

"what? what secret?"

"eli's got his suit"

"suit? a suit for what?"

"what do you think den?"

she blushed... an actual blush. she turned away, facing her drink with a smile on her face as the two boys teased her

"are you pressuring her into drunk cloud watching again rob?" elijah laughed, him and ryan making their way back to the table with beers in hand

"actually, drunk cloud watching is always my idea" haiden smiled, eli's lips pressing a kiss to hers

"of course it is, den"

she smiled to herself, taking a sip of her drink. she coughed slightly as it passed down her throat, before bringing the cup up to her nose to smell

"eli this has vodka"

"no it doesn't? it's diet coke"

"eli, it's diet coke and vodka" she mumbled

"haiden it's not, i ordered it myself" he laughed nervously

"mate, hate to break it to you but that's pretty much straight vodka" rob gagged, swallowing even the smallest sip of her drink.

the colour drained from eli's face... he knew that's not what he ordered for her, she was adamant on staying sober while they worked things through. sure, he turned his back for a second at the bar but so what? he took what he ordered, but this drink certainly wasn't it.

"haiden, i didn't" he looked at her with guilt

"yeah, i just need a minute" she mumbled, pushing the drink away from her before worming her way through drunken bodies and out the front of the pub.
she sighed to herself, hands covering her face as she tried her hardest to keep it together

she didn't blame him, it was an easy mistake to make... he'd simply ordered what she drank everytime they met, performed and celebrated.
she leant against the wall and with shakey hands lit yet another cigarette

"mate i swear i never ordered that" eli sighed, chucking the remainder of the drink into the bushes

"it's an easy mistake eli" ryan sighed
