INTRODUCTION

AI or short for Artificial Intelligence, was supposed to be a boon to society. It was supposed to be used for the betterment of people and to ease the lives of many. It was actually a good idea and approach to the society.

But, in today's world, AI is the second name of destruction. We don't know when and where danger is waiting for us. We don't know when an apocalypse will be happening on this planet. The researchers are still doing their works, but the people are panicking. This panic and internal conflict made the whole world divide into 12 districts.

Just for the sake of Human world and for the future generations, each and every district is preparing its kids. They all are governed by the leader, but there are several who want to take over the position for power. Even in this situation, position, power and hunger for money haven't died down among many. Just to control people on their own, many people joined hands and started to corrupt the system. This happened in many districts, which lead to hunger, civil wars and the leader had to take a step by mass violence to control the civilians.

But among all of this, there are a few groups of people, who joined hands together from different districts so that the world peace can be restored again. Many people from District 2, 4, 9, 11, and 5 named themselves the 'Traitors of the system'. These traitors are hard to find, and their main purpose is to expose the leader of their district to the head governors.

District 9. The most chaotic one among all. Their own leader is the most psychopathic among all of the leaders. It still bugs many why his deeds haven't been exposed to the head governor by now. He was once a soldier, who saved the governor and then he worked hard for his position. He was once viewed as an idol by many. But it all came to halt when the officials started to notice his dirty works.

He was a psycho. Hungry for money and technology. He will watch his men torture the trainees or prisoners as if he is watching a movie. He enlisted people by the most ridiculous ways possible. Either kidnapped them from their homes or would give the students false hopes, which would turn out in his own favor. But on top of all that, he was smart, and had the highest authority and power in the district, which made it harder for the Traitors to find the hole in his practices. Only one more step, and he will become the head governor.

All the districts are divided into four wings- The North wing, which is the medical department, led by Park Jihyo. The East Wing is the intelligence and finance department, which is led by Lim Jaebom, also called JayB. The West Wing is the defense department, led by Bang Chan. The fourth one is called the South Wing, which is the research department, led by Hwang Yeji.

The civilians are supposed to choose anyone among these wings on based on their personality tests. But in the end, they are allowed to choose any wing which they want to. But if they are removed from the wing, during evaluations, then they can't change their choice or try out for any other wing. They become wingless and they are also either sent away, tortured for Mr. Park's entertainment or used for experiments.

But among all of them, there is another group of people. No, not the Traitors, but those who couldn't be assigned a wing by the personality tests. People might use those tests for an individual's disadvantage, that is why those tests are quite private and no one knows the result except the one who took it. These special people, they are called the divergents. They are basically the more special and evolved humans on the planet. Whichever place they choose, they give amazing performance there.

But being a divergent is not a boon in District 9 or in any of the districts. They are viewed as 'the ones who can cause conflicts because they know too much.' Whenever a divergent is found, he or she is given the same fate as the wingless peoples. Only difference is that the people with no wings may be left alive, but the divergents are killed either by torturing or by becoming the specimens for experiments.

In this world, trusting someone is not easy, you never know who a snake is and who is not. This is one of the main reasons why the divergents never talk about their identity to anyone. They knew that whichever wing they chose, they will fit exactly in, which is not a bigger problem for them. But the main problem for them which awaits them in the future is, that their skills are top tier, and they show progress very fast, which may lead to someone identifying them, and reporting them.

But nonetheless, the Traitors of district 9 are not someone which should be underestimated. After all it has been 7 years and all of their efforts will pay off very soon, one day.
