3rd Person's POV:
"Han Jisung!" Jisung stopped walking towards his room at the familiar voice. He turned around and saw his previous trainer walking towards him. "I want to talk to you." Iseul stated seriously, making Jisung scoff. "About?" He questioned. Iseul leaned closer, "About your life." He gulped and looked at her sceptically.
"What do you mean?" He questioned again but was dragged away by her towards his room. She urged him to open the door and he did without any questions. He went inside and she followed him as well checking whether someone was there or not.
"I didn't knew that trainers are allowed inside the student's rooms." He plopped down on his bed and looked at her. "Well?" He tilted his head and Lseul smirked. "You are a divergent, right?" Jisung's face remained neutral and he shook his head.
"You got the wrong guy miss. I'm not a divergent." He denied and layed back down. "Mr. Chankyu, a trainer from the south wing was executed last week. He has been in force since the past six years, and you have been a trainee since the past three years. Just a reminder for you, be safe and hide yourself. Don't be too different from others." She turned and was about to open the door, but Jisung stopped her.
"He helped me once." She looked back and saw him looking at the ceiling and gulping. "For his sake and for the sake of your own, don't get caught. Felix is talking about you too much nowadays. People don't suspect about your smart brain because they think it's because you were born to parents who were from North and South wings. But don't take this lightly." Iseul walked away leaving Jisung in his own chain of thoughts.
But his eyes widened when the bathroom door opened, revealing his roommate and best friend, Kim Seungmin, who was looking at him with disbelief. "Shit." He cursed under his breathe and looked at him.
"Listen Seungmin, talk to me before-" "so you are a divergent?" Seungmin questioned and Jisung gulped. "Seung-" "You should have told me!" Seungmin walked and sat down on his bed. "How can I?" Jisung questioned.
"How can we divergents trust someone in this world who is not of our kind? You might have heard about the trainer from the south wing, right? He served them for six years! Six goddamn years! But was still killed. Why is the world so unfair towards us?" Jisung argued and Seungmin just blankly looked at him.
"If you don't want to be friends with me anymore, tell me then. I will switch roommates and will also stop talking to you or bothering you. But it's a request and favour, please don't tell anyone!" Jisung pleaded a d seungmin chuckled.
"This is a sight to see. The Han Jisung pleading." He laughed lightly and Jisung was just one step away from killing him. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." He smiled and layed on his bed. Jisung heaved a sigh of relief, "Thank you."
"No need for that." Jisung looked at him and saw him smirking. "I wouldn't expose people of my kind and then become a target as well." Jisung's eyes widened and he sat straight. "what do you mean?" He asked and Seungmin chuckled. "You heard me right." Jisung looked around, "this means," he trailed off and Seungmin chuckled again.
"Yes, I am a divergent too."
