3rd Person's POV:

Seungmin peeked slowly from his hiding spot but hid back again when he heard people rushing. He decided to not call in sick and was going towards the training room for classes, but then heard a gunshot and then voices and chaos. He heard a whole ass firing but hid himself well behind the lowest stairs.

He was squatting down and was observing the voices. He knew for sure that the other students must have been escorted to their rooms and the trainers must have been dealing with the invaders. "We have to reach the South and North Wing fast! The East wing had already secured themselves from them, but Minho sir and Iseul mam need backup! Iseul mam is even shot!" He heard someone's yelling and peeked to see the guards rushing towards the designated wing.

Seungmin was a bit worried when he heard about Iseul as he got to know from his parent's letter that now she is the in-charge for all the divergents. He slowly rose from his hiding spot and started to rush towards the dorms. When he turned towards another hallway, he met face to face with an invader.

"Shit." He cursed and the invader lunged at him. Of course, he wouldn't back down since he was a rank A student and started to dodge and attack as well. He made sure that the guy didn't used his gun and even kicked it away. But it seems like the man was much more skilled than he thought and after a small fight with punches, kicks and dodges, Seungmin was pinned on the floor by him.

"Watch out kid." The person, whom he thought was a man turned out to be a female, said. She took the gun that was lying on the side and aimed at him. "I'm not a kid for your kind information." He said and kicked her hand, making the gun fall away. He jumped up and did a roundhouse kick, trapping the girl down. "Impressive." She mumbled and he was sure that she was smirking at him.

"Seungmin!" He heard a familiar voice and looked up to see Chanmi running towards them. Seeing Seungmin distracted, the female admired his face and then pushed him aside and ran away. Seungmin looked at her running away but didn't bother to run towards her. "What the heck?" He stood up and faced Chanmi.

"What were you doing here?" Her voice was strict and Seungmin looked down. "I was late to class and was on my way there but heard the commotion, so I hid under the stairs." He told her and she sighed. "Jisung said you were going to the South wing?" Seungmin looked at her now. "I was thinking but my parents would be busy by now, so I thought of going to the class." She nodded. "Don't do that again, divergent." His eyes widened and she motioned him to follow her.

He started following her, but his eyes were widened. "Don't worry, I am too." She informed him and he sighed. "What if we are heard through the CCTV cameras?" He looked at the cameras and Chanmi chuckled. "They do not have mics. Mr. Park disabled the mic system so that he can talk freely and say whatever he wants to say in the hallways without someone having a proof of anything, but we divergents and I think the traitors too, use this for their own advantages as well."

"Traitors?" He questioned. "There is an internal organization in every district who are fighting against their system leaders and are trying to expose them to the governor. We don't know who they are, but we do know that this kind of organization exist here." Seungmin nodded looking around for caution as well. "And are they someone important for people like us?" He questioned and Chanmi sighed.

"Honestly, I don't know. Our last in-charge, Kim Chankyu, he told us last year that the leader of East wing, JayB, is one of the traitors. In the last meetings of all the wings, he informed Mr. Park about two trainees who are suspected but he was ordered to kill them, and they are being executed today. Although he did try to test them, but Mr. Park gave him orders strictly. So, I think that the traitors are neither a friend nor a foe for us. They don't want to execute us, but I don't think that they want to keep us as well."

They entered the hallway for the dorms and saw Felix pointing a gun straight at them. When he saw it was just the two of them, he lowered his gun but was still on guard. "You and your friend Jisung are some real troublemakers." He hissed at Seungmin and the boy sheepishly bowed to him and went inside the door. "All clear till now?" Chanmi nodded. "I didn't find many people in the hallways as well. It was empty and only officials from our wing were there." Felix nodded.

"Let's wish this all is finished soon."
