3rd Person's POV:

Iseul was sent inside the room first. Everyone in the room watched her being moved inside the cursed room. Minho and Felix held an unexplainable emotion in their eyes. Both of them were telling themselves that it all will be over soon. Suddenly they heard a very loud sound and then the alarms went off. "Shit! I think we have been attacked!" Wonho shouted and many of them rushed outside.

"Fuck! Escort me to my safety room first!" Mr. Park shouted to his men, and they all made a protective shield around him. "We will take care of the intruders." Chan bowed to him and when he was out, he turned to the others. "Everyone on position just like how we discussed!" He ordered and everyone started to go to their places, leaving the unconscious divergents in the room. Changbin was the last one to leave and he looked back at Chanmi lying and then closed the door with force before leaving.

"Rule no. 1, everyone stays safe and make sure to protect others as well. Rule no. 2, find our people as soon as possible. Rule no. 3, come back alive." Chankyu shouted to everyone he was leading, and they all nodded at him and each other before leaving to their designated spaces with their partners/ teams.

"Do you know where the experiment room or torture labs are?" Hyunjin asked Seungmin from his earpiece. "Turn left from the secret base's blue stairs. South wing's stairs are always red or maroon in color. There will be a room on the third floor, with a white door, easily distinguishable, go in from there and turn right, there you have it." He stopped in front of the room and opened it carefully.

He was ready for any attack on him and slowly while looking around entered. He saw three empty beds and by the way it was, he can tell that someone was laying there before he got there. He looked around and then his eyes caught a door in the corner of that room. "Shall I check in there as well?" He thought and squinted his eyes. "You never know what could be behind that door, right?" He mumbled to himself and slowly approached the door while looking around carefully and his handgun all ready.

He opened the door carefully and stepped inside. The room was completely dark, and he thought of going out, but his eyes caught a figure laying in the dark corner of the room on a bed similar to what he saw outside. He approached them and furrowed his eyebrows. Upon realization on who the person was, his eyes widened, and he immediately shook her.

"Iseul? Iseul? Wake up! Oh my god!" He hugged her and felt relieved after seeing that she has not gone through the procedure by now. "So, you guys are already here." He heard a feminine voice and turned to see Yuna standing in the other corner with her arms crossed. "What did you do to her?" He growled and she shrugged. "Didn't do anything by now and wasn't even planning too, you know." He clenched his jaw and glared at her.

"What do you mean?" He asked and she shrugged again. "There is a power cut. I can't do anything without electricity. Since she saved my life once, I'm giving you a chance to run away from here with her and save her. And let me be clear, after you do that, I won't be indebted by her and can do whatever I want. So now is your first and only chance. If you really want, you can only save her now." She said while looking at her nails. Hyunjin did not needed to be told twice, he immediately pulled Iseul up and carried her on his back. He turned around one last time to look at Yuna, "Thank you very much."

Changbin barged inside the experiment room and saw the empty beds. He was about to barge inside the lab as well but saw Yuna coming out. "Where are they?" He pointed at the beds, and she shook her head. "I don't know." Changbin looked annoyed, "And where is Iseul?" He asked and she sighed. "Hyunjin took her." Changbin raised an eyebrow. "And you just let him?" She nodded. "He carried a gun with himself, what else was I supposed to do? Get shot?" Changbin rolled his eyes and without any other word, left.

He marched up to Chan, who was gathered with the others and said, "Iseul and the other divergents escaped. Hyunjin helped them." Chan looked at him baffled. "Wasn't Hyunjin is Neo Sydney?" he asked and Changbin shrugged. "What if the other divergents came to this district to save others as well?" Felix questioned and they all shared a look. "I think they will attack on us as well."

"Please move as fast as possible!" Mingyu rushed the two girls, helping them as well. He got the drug injected before them and since he was a divergent too, the effect of the serum doesn't last for that long on them. He actually woke up just when Changbin left after hearing the loud sound of the door getting shut. When he recalled what happened and where he was, his eyes widened and he immediately woke the other two girls as well.

The drug was quite strong, and its effect lasts in normal humans for about 4-5 hours but for the divergents, it only lasts for 2-3 hours. And if someone is woken up forcefully, they feel very weak and dizzy for the time being which was the case with Sana and Chanmi. Mingyu held both the girls and was helping them escape as well. He was unaware of the fact that Iseul was in the other room and only saw the two girls.

They turned into a corner and saw a silhouette in the dark. He paused and the two girls looked over to where he was looking as well. "Don't move." The figure pointed their guns at them and Mingyu groaned internally but didn't let his guard down and was still holding onto both Sana and Chanmi. The person stepped closer to them and Mingyu heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that it was none other than Jeongin.

"Oh my god." Jeongin immediately put his gun down and rushed towards them. "Are you guys alright?" He asked them and Mingyu nodded. "We escaped successfully from the experiment lab." He said and Jeongin immediately held Sana and then looked behind him. "Where is Iseul?" He asked and Mingyu furrowed his eyebrows. "Iseul?"

Jeongin nodded. "She was there with you guys as well." He said and Mingyu shook his head. "I didn't saw her!" Jeongin's eyes widened in realization. "What if...... she is in the lab?" Mingyu shook his head and gulped. He looked at Chanmi, who was now getting onto her full senses and then at Jeongin. "Take both of them with you, I will go back and find her."

He was about to go, but Jeongin stopped him. "Don't. I just heard Hyunjin Hyung has escaped from there with her. She is safe." Mingyu heaved a sigh of relief. "S-So, Iseul is safe?" Chanmi asked and Jeongin hummed.

"Then let's leave this place as soon as possible."
