3rd Person's POV:
Iseul closed her eyes at the stinging. She was in her room, in a crop tank top, and Hyunjin was treating her. "This bullet didn't go deep. His shot wasn't fatal." He put the bullet aside and started to clean her wound and bandage it. "In which wing, were you born?" Here she is at it again.
Hyunjin frustratingly closed his eyes, but then looked at her shortly before continuing. "North." She nodded. Hyunjin knew her next question as well, which was now a habit of hers and would ask him whenever she got the chance to do so. "And which wing was assigned to you?" She asked. "West. Can you please stop doing that?" He mumbled.
"Doing what?" She had a smug look on her face. "Now time to bandage your second wound." He told her and she nodded, lifting a bit of her top. Hyunjin was flustered at her bold action. "Are you not flustered? I mean, are you okay with me touching you there." He asked pointing at her upper waist. "Not the first time when a human of opposite gender is treating me. I'm okay as long as you don't pull any funny stuff and loose the chances of becoming a father in the future."
Hyunjin pressed his lips into a straight line and looked at the wound. "It's good that the bullet just passed and not went inside." He pulled out the disinfectant and started to apply on her. "Does it hurt?" He asked and Iseul hummed. "Just stings." Hyunjin place a bandage on the area. He removed the gloves and sanitized his hands.
"I will get going." He stood up and was about to leave, but Iseul pulled him back on the couch and made him sit beside her. "Huh?" He was confused at her and looked at her. "Tell me, which wing were you originally assigned to?" She asked him again. Hyunjin sighed in disappointment. "And I thought I made myself clear to you."
"Stop shitting lies." She pulled out a knife from her boots and pointed on his neck. "I know who you are and where are you from." She smirked. "So, is this how you thank those who help you?" He scoffed but she leaned closer while smirking. "Yes, agent 0320." Hyunjin's eyes widened. "What?" He whispered.
Iseul chuckled and leaned back. "Don't worry. I am a divergent too like you. In fact, I am the next in-charge of them here now, since Chankyu is gone." She mumbled the last part but looked back at him, who sighed in a bit relief. "I honestly did nothing to be found out though." He mumbled and crossed his legs. He took an apple from the table and started to munch on it. "Tell me how did you even knew that I was from district 7 in the first place?"
Iseul smirked. "Through dreams." Hyunjin frowned. "I sometimes have dreams about someone getting killed or sometimes about someone being used as an experiment. They might be someone I know or not, but they are always classified as 'divergents' in my dreams. When I search about them in reality, they are actually like of my kinds. I saw you and another one during one of those and it was the same day when you were recruited, so I concluded that you are one."
"And how did you know that I am an agent?" He asked. "I went through your file and searched about it in the system. I found everything suspicious and contacted some friends of mine who are from another districts, and gave them details about you to search, which they can't find. But when I contacted my ally from District 7, Your records were there, and you were 'an agent on a mission'." Hyunjin nodded. "A very smart brain you got there." He amused.
"But do you even know what my mission is?" He asked and Iseul hummed. "Well, I don't completely know, but have an idea that it is related to one of the students from my brother's class." She looked at him, who nodded. "Jeon Hana." He replied. "What's with her?" She asked. "I wish I can tell you, but for some safety purposes, I can't. I have been asked to keep an eye on her and also to find the traitors here."
Iseul furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?" She questioned. "Apparently, Leaders of districts 7 and 9 are enemies, but both our districts want to throw the leaders away. The traitors were formed a couple of years ago in my district, but they are in full force and plan. They want to join hands with the traitors of this district, and I am sent here for the deal. I can act as a mediator and both the districts can throw their leaders off, together."
Iseul nodded. "Sounds good to me. But how are you going to find the traitors?" She questioned and Hyunjin sighed. "I honestly have no idea. Do you know about them?" He asked and Iseul sighed. "I wish. I have some doubts, but I'm not sure. They are very well in hiding and this is the reason why I don't know about them. I was honestly not interested about them, but I think a deal between traitors and divergents sounds good right?" Hyunjin nodded.
"This is what is currently happening in District 7. The divergents and the traitors have tied forces and are helping each other out. This had made many things easier. The divergents are not found that much and even if they are, they are still saved from being executed. This can be helpful in this district as well." He said to her. "This what I was thinking as well and Chankyu also told me to find them. But I don't know why but I think he knew about them, that is why he was killed so that their identity is not revealed to others."
"This means that the South wing has traitors." Hyunjin concluded and Iseul nodded. "This can be one conclusion, but we can't just blame them without any proof as well." Iseul sighed. Both of them sat in silence for a few minutes. "I think we both should work together." Hyunjin said out after a few minutes. "I guess you tell me about the traitors, and I will help you get the support of all the divergents." Iseul said and Hyunjin put his hand out. "Deal?" Iseul smiled and shook his hand. "Deal."
"Now time for you to go to your room, student, I mean, agent." She said sarcastically and Hyunjin rolled his eyes playfully. "Yes ma'am." He looked at her and stood up, walking towards the door. He looked back at her and winked and went out. He shut the door and went outside the small hallway and turned but came face to face with the two spawns of Satan himself- the Lee Brothers. Both were glaring at him and hand their hands crossed in front of their chest. Hyunjin gulped and bowed at them, but they both took one step closer to him.
"So, shall we ignore the fact that you came out of our sister's room, Agent?"
