CH:28 ☠️

3rd Person's POV:

"Hi, my name is Yang Minjee. I'm a rank D student." Minjee awkwardly stood in front of the table, putting up a 'V' sign and a sheepish grin. Jisung and Seungmin looked at each other. 'Is this whom we got?' They both shared same looks then and Hyunjin, who nodded and then looked back the trio who was standing with the new girl in between and Jeongin and Hana on both of her sides.

"WOW, we got another girl on our table! Welcome Minjee!" Aera cheerfully welcomes her, and Minjee sat down in between Eunji and Hana. "She is so beautiful." Aera huffed. "You are too." Jisung flirted and Hyunjin made gagging noises. "Shut up!" He sneered at the boy, who rolled his eyes. "Yes, sir."

"So, everyone introduce yourself to our new friend, Minjee!" Aera cheered and one by one they all introduced themselves to her. It was now Seungmin's turn and when Minjee and Seungmin made eye contact for the first time, their breathing hitched. They both blankly stared at each other, ignoring or basically forgetting where they were at the moment.

The others were looking back and forth in between them, unable to say or do anything. Hyunjin, Jeongin, Jisung, Aera, Hana, Jiyeon, Heeji and Eunji smirked. "Love is in the air~" Jisung sang, and they all covered their noses, including Hyunjin this time since Iseul was not around. Don't know about Iseul, but the last time when this happened, he heard Sana and knew what he was supposed to do, but for some reasons, he wanted to inhale the scent of love with Iseul (I'm sorry but I cringed hard. I don't even know what got into me while writing this.)

Both Seungmin and Minjee got interrupted and looked dumbfounded at the others, they realized and then quickly covered their noses. The group snickered and laughed at them. "It's too late now. You both are infected by the virus." Hyunjin clapped while pointing at Seungmin same as how he did when he and Iseul were caught. His face literally screamed, 'Payback time, bitch'.

"Shut up all of you." Seungmin grumbled and looked down. "Well, did you introduce yourself?" Jisung reminded him and he looked back at Minjee, "Hi, Minjee, I'm Kim Seungmin." She smiled politely and waved at him. "Nice to meet you." again, she kept the last words inside her mouth and continued talking with the others. But throughout the time and the day, Seungmin can't shook off this feeling of knowing those eyes.

"This student seems suspicious." Minho pointed at someone. "Why?" Chan asked. "She kept glancing at Hana from time to time. She is also trying to be close to her. Is she another agent from the same district or another?" He asked and Chan shrugged. "I don't know. I think we need to find out. What's her name?" He asked. "Rachael Kim." Chan rubbed his chin, thinking deeply. "Let's search about her." He said and Minho nodded.

Hyunjin walked in the meeting room of SKZ suddenly and greeted the others. "How come you are here?" Minho glanced at him. "I have some information." He told them, gaining both of their attentions. "And that is?" Changbin questioned.

"There is one more agent who is with us." He told them. "One more?" Chan asked. "Yes. But she is not from District 7. She is an enemy. She is from District 3." He told them and they furrowed their eyebrows. "3? But aren't they friends with Mr. Park?" Changbin asked.

"Seems like they have their eyes on Hana now." Felix chimed. "I think we need to move and work faster now." He said and they nodded. "But how did you know that she is from there? Because if Namjoon knew, then he would have informed us." Minho asked and suspiciously eyed Hyunjin. "I found her very suspicious. Since my first job is basically to keep Hana on my watch, so I was observing not only her but her surroundings as well and I found her clearly trying to make a move on Hana. I talked about her to someone who can help, and another agent told me that she is from District 3."

"You know we were also discussing about her." Felix told him. "Seems like you are doing your job pretty good." He smiled and Hyunjin smiled back. "Well, not like I have anything else to do as well. My training is already completed and not like I can go back to my district till the leader is still active because for most of the people, I am dead." He looked down and realization stuck in all of their minds.

He was a traitor AND a divergent too. There is no way he would be accepted back into the district till the leader is active since for him and many other people, he is dead. They all think he is no more but in reality, he is here, helping all of his friends, people he cares about and his beloved district to gain allies and trustable people so that they can be free as well. He is risking his life at such a young age along with many others for their freedom so that the next generation can have a better approach to the society.

Chan put a hand on his shoulder in encouragement. "It's okay buddy. We will be good soon. Let's just work and put our best in this so that we can get what we all want. You will be back to your district, to your family soon." Hyunjin looked at Chan with sadness washed over his face. "Family?" He asked him. "My family passed away in a civil war. My father, Mother, little sister, aunt, uncle, everyone. I was the only one who was saved and brought for training. This is why I was a trainer like Iseul and Felix at this age."

They all looked at him apologetically. "It's okay, mate." Felix put and arm around his shoulder. "We understand the feeling of losing someone. And we all have lost at least someone in our lives. This is why we have all teamed up together and this is what our new family is." Minho said and Hyunjin looked at him.

"This family will grow though. We might not be family by blood, but we are by emotions and mentality. We all have the same goal, and we all care for each other and trust each other. This is what makes us a family." Changbin smiled at him, making him smile too. Chan hugged him. "You don't need to worry about anything from now onwards. We are like brothers to each other, and you are now a part of us too."
