3rd Person's POV:
Lee Minho. Eldest of the Lee siblings. He has got looks, brains, and two caring little siblings with him. But the worst thing about him is, greed. Greed for power, so that he can change the world. That is why he couldn't hold back when he was offered the position of being the district's next leader by Mr. Park.
He is feared and respected a lot by the trainees and the trainers both, and Mr. Park knew that if he gets Minho by his side, then he can do whatever he wants. Minho was a traitor and didn't want to originally join him, but when his memories returned, he remembered every single detail of that night, the night when his parents were killed. He remembered how his father begged on his knees, to the invaders to not harm his kids, despite losing his wife, an eye and one hand.
He remembered how those bastards snickered and made fun of his begging state. He remembered how they shot his mother in total of five times, each bullet for the number of family members there were. He remembered how they choked Iseul by her neck and almost killed her, he remembered how they held Felix by his hair and yanked the poor boy across the room, he remembered how they beat him up in front of his father, while he was begging.
That day, when Chankyu gave him his memories back, he remembered everything. That was the day when Minho resolved to himself, that he will rise and make a better living conditions for people like him, for those who had nowhere to go and that was why he decided to become not only a member, but a secret agent for the traitors.
But unfortunately for him, Mr. Park discovered him a year ago and he thought everything was over. But the universe had different plans for him, and he promised him that if he works for him and gives him info about everything, he will not only spare his, but his sibling's lives as well. He promised that he will also give Minho the position of the leader of this district since he will be competing for the position of the governor a couple of years later.
Minho knew what he was doing was wrong, but he couldn't stop himself. He knew that there is not a hundred percent chance that he will win, but he still worked for that lower chance. He provided every single detail to him, making him aware of everything and he also had to provide him the detail of Iseul and Felix both being divergents, which was also pretty shocking to him.
He was in his own world, not until he was asked to monitor the one person, whom he never expected to ever meet again, Jeon Hana. She reminded him of himself, his past self and how he struggled to remember about his family, how he struggled to answer when his siblings will ask him questions about their family. He knew the feelings and even he didn't know why he helped her gain her memories despite knowing that was a threat to his future plans.
"So, what is he planning to do now?" Hana asked while laying her head down on his chest. "He is planning to attack the divergents and traitors both when they approach Chankyu. I told him I don't even know where he is, but he made me put a bug in Brian's laptop when it was left in the basement and now, he is also sending his team there."
Hana sighed and looked up at him. "Why can't you stop now?" Minho but his lips and gulped. "I don't know. I-I don't want to. I know it's wrong, but I want to give justice to my parents. I want to just erase that horrible image of my family getting tortured and killed in front of my eyes."
"But I don't think Iseul will ever think twice before killing you for this betrayal. Since the time I've known her, and talked to her, I think she is the type of person to never chose the wrong side. What would you do then?" Hana's question made him chuckle. "If it's any of my siblings who is going to kill me, then I have no problem. Please make sure that the one killing me in the near future is either Iseul or Felix. No one else."
Hana glared. "And what about me then?" He shook his head. "Don't think about me too much and forget me. Be on the right side and keep protecting them, that's all I want you to do. Don't put yourself in danger just because of me." "But why can't you change sides now?" Her question made Minho sigh.
"It's too late now. It's either I die, or I die situation. If I leave Mr. Park, then he will kill the traitors and the divergents. If I leave the traitors side, then also I will be killed. I basically have no other choice." He smiled and Hana stood up. "Fine then, now don't come near me." She said and stomped out of his room, leaving him behind sighing to himself.
"So, you guys are planning to send the team tonight?" Chan asked while chewing on his food. "Hmm." Iseul hummed and smiled at Byeol, who offered her some noodles. "By the way, who is going?" She asked and Iseul nodded. "I am, along with Chanmi, Felix, Jisung, Sana and some other divergents as well. We are going through the secret pass way which are used for the secret missions. Hyunjin insisted to come along and some traitors like Yeji, Changbin and Mina are also coming with us."
"Can I come as well?" Hana asked. Iseul looked at her and she nodded. "Yes, you can. But I won't be answering Soyeon if you return back with no life." Hana chuckled and shook her head. "Don't worry. I am also trained well." Iseul smiled and looked at Minho, who was lost for some reasons.
"Brother?" She nudged him and he looked up at her startled. "What happened?" He smiled and patted her head. "Nothing." He again looked back to his food and continued eating.
Chan leaned back on his chair and looked around with a smile. Never in his dreams he thought that he will be gaining so much support to what he started years ago.
He was young too, when he first heard some senior trainer of his, talking about a new torture which was performed on a civilian 'just for fun' by none other than Mr. Park himself. He felt his throat dry and goosebumps rising along with a feeling of nausea after hearing them. That was the day when he realized that this district is much darker than what he thought it to be.
He wanted to fight for the innocent people, who were killed just for fun by the cruel leader. And that is when he started the first traitor organization inside this district. He has heard and known about the fate of the previous traitors, but he committed to himself that even if he dies, he won't give up.
He started to search for people who badmouthed the leader, who knew his true colors and those who don't like him. He still remembers that was the first time when he met his roommate, Lee Minho. A boy who was clueless about this place, but eventually came to hate it. He found a brother, a friend in him and that is how Minho became the first member of this small organization.
He then met Changbin, and then Felix discovered them. He started to search people from others wings as well and in a span of five years, he managed to spread this organization like a parasite in the district. He wanted to meet the divergents and also join hands with them since they were the people on the top of the list of the sufferers and was very happy when District 7 proposed him to join hands with them and their divergents.
Although he was shocked when he got to know that Iseul is one of them, but he was not at all unhappy. He was glad that the one on whom he is going to trust his whole life's hard work is someone whom he cares for. He was ecstatic and over the moon when he saw the divergents and the traitors working together. And he was also more than happy when Byeol decided to join the traitors and help them as well. Everything is now going according to how he wanted it all to go like. Now, he only hopes for one thing.
That nothing goes wrong.
