Locked Out

Authors Note**     I remember writing something along the lines of this and publishing it a while ago. I guess I must have deleted it at some point, possibly when rewriting my previous chapters. Or maybe it just never got published and I deleted its draft |= or possibly got ditched after doing The Star Trio Ending oneshot. Floofy - Galaxy/Rainbow (W a lil art now)

Rainbow crossed his arms with a grunt as he was dragged into the Galaxy tower by a not-so-happy Sabre. Apparently, calling Galaxy an idiotic numbskull was where Sabre drew the line of meanness. So now there Rainbow stood, rolling his eyes like a moody teenager while Sabre scolded him. It wasn't much different than usual; Watch what you say, Be kinder to him, and Why can't you just get along?. Rainbow only half listened to him.

Sabre sighed "What's so bad about Gal? Sure, he's not the brightest, but he has a good heart!"

"I can't stand him, Sabre! He's insufferable!"

"But why?" Sabre asked

"Well!" Rainbow started, pacing back and forth "He's just so... annoying! He acts so damn blunt about everything, sometimes I feel like he does it on purpose! How could someone be so damn stupid and survive so long? And the way he looks at me... UGH! He looks at me like he knows he's gonna piss me off and says the absolute, most horrendously idiotic thing! His dumb face... his eyes a-and his lips..." Rainbow tailed off, muttering spitefully

"I- what?"

"He makes me feel weird! The audacity this steve has to look at me the way he does and just go; I think rocks are good on sandwiches or some shit like that! It's infuriating how he just bats his lashes at me like he doesn't know he just said something utterly ridiculous!"

"I don't know Rain, that doesn't sound..."

"What?"

"It seems you're just mad 'cause you think he's... pretty?"

"No, I'm mad at him 'cause he's a moronic dingbat and thinks just because he's pretty and acts all cute about it that it's fine!"

"Uh-huh"

"And don't get me started on him being a big crybaby. It's unbearable. It's always over something stupid and something of his own cause! And he knows that I can't stand it and I'll fix it! If he gives me those fucking puppy eyes again, I swear..."

"No one's making you 'fix it' Rain, you know he'll forget about it in a few minutes..."

"But then later he'll mope about it... I know he is even if he's not being loud or he's acting happy he still is sad about it..."

"And why do you care if he's sad? Don't you want him to be sad?"

"Well yes but... I can't stand it when he looks like that."

"Sounds like you like 'em."

"NO, I DON'T! I still hate him, I'd just literally do anything to stop his moping!"

"Why?"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER! The point is he knows he's so fucking cute I can't ignore his little pouting bitch-ass face!"

"It sounds like you've gotta crush on him," Sabre said

Rainbow stared at him in disbelief "I. Do. Not!!"

"I'm just sayin' it as I hear it, Rain! It sounds like you've gotta thing for dumbasses"

"No, I-" Rainbow paused, the gears turning in his head "No! Nooo!"
