Authors note** Ngl one of them is flat out killing the other in the first story so uh. Hope you enjoyed the fluff while it lasted? The seconds kinda based off of Good Lookin' by Dixon Dallas. Was gonna do more song ones but I wanna get this done today. The second one is actually a lot longer, so yall get a lot more cowboy fluff.

Peaceful Death of a Villian - 326 words **fp

"I'm going to kill you."

He whispered it to me, under his breath before he pulled me under. He said it like he'd say "I love you". Oh, he pulled me down like a siren, but he held me like a newly born child. If I had any doubt that anyone could kill gently, it was Rainbow Steve. By the stars, he pulled me into his chest, against his heart—I could feel it beating like a soft console. His eyes looking into mine, lashes drooped low with the occasional bat, unbothered by the sting of ocean water. Eyes more like the ocean than the ocean herself, shining brilliantly.

If anyone was to kill me again I was forever thankful for it to be him. He hung under, with me, but not a bubble sunk from his mouth. No like how water doesn't fall from your mouth, he breathed it like air. His hair, long and ever ethereal like a sheet of fine silk from the stars, floated around his head, around me, especially as he pulled me down. Deeper and deeper.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

He placed his hands on my face, caressing my cheeks. Turning me to look out at the coral and the fish. My eyes never left him, never left his hand. I was starting to lose vision, lose consciousness. I tried not to breathe, wanting this to never end. This moment...

"Slow, darling."

I don't think he wanted it to end either. Something sad in his eyes. Like this wasn't of his say. Yet he remained ever calm, unfazed and tranquil to do so. He pulled me back into his bare chest. His thigh against mine. His nose bridge curved into mine. His hands moved to lock into mine.

I felt myself grow unsentient, my eyes getting heavy.

They fell as he kissed me.

I still felt his lips touch mine, ever gentle, like kissing a flower.

And then nothing.

Nothing at all.

Save the Horse, Ride the Cowboy - 1107 words

Nightmare sighed, pulling the horse along. It was easy enough to lead along, though it seemed to try and seer off from where he walked. His own horse, Noir, seemed to like it. She kept trotting alongside it. He wasn't sure who owned this horse, but it was already saddled and had horseshoes, so it wasn't exactly wild. Then, when he was passing through a flower field, it twisted out of his grasp and ran. He was about to chase and call after it until he heard another cry from across the field.

"Nicholas!"

He would have left the horse to whom he could only assume owned it. But Noir chased right after "Nicholas" So he was left chasing her.

"Noir!"

"Nicholas!"

He could hear the man's laughious joy from there, slowing as he saw him. He held out a carrot for Nicholas to eat, offering one to Noir as she approached him. He had a tooth gap when he smiled. His hair seemed fluffy and short but it was actually just his bangs, the rest in a curly rat tail to his waist. He looked like a cowboy from a film, the blue plaid button up, puffed out of the leather vest's collar and was loose at the sleeves. Blue jeans with frilled leather chaps and a holster belt. Pointed leather boots to his shin. And of course, the brown hat.
